I’m a lipgloss junkie…. I’d start there.  YSL has some lovely lip candy!  Let us know what you get!

I had a similar thread earlier this year and got lots of recommendations to get the Urban Decay eye primer. I got it in late April, and I’m still using the same little bottle and I really like it! It’s $16, I believe.

Right now Sephora has their holiday gift sets out – great way to try a bunch of new stuff 🙂  My favorites are the perfume sampler (which comes with a voucher for a full sized bottle of your choice), the mascara set (perfect sizes for always having a fresh tube), and the lipgloss sampler (which is actually $25)

@sarahbabs:  +1. I would get a set with a bunch of little things to try…that usually ends up being a better value in the long run.

@hisgoosiegirl:  That really is one of the best primers  … I used to work at Sephora years ago and even 10 yrs ago that primer has been one of the best and sold very well…

Make-up brushes. I love their huge, fluffy powder brush with the bright pink handle. It makes any loose powder go on more smooth and even. And it’s so soft.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette!  I can’t live without it, my eyes always look great in 2 min.  All the colours go together for day and night looks, so you don’t have to be super saavy to get a good look going.  I even use the darker browns for my eye liner (with a thin brush).  I also use their primer, as PPs suggested and love it too!  Plus since it’s popular, you can google tutorials online if you want to plan out a look for a special occasion.

I own both palettes (I and II), but the original is my recommendation if you can only buy 1.

Choosing one thing at Sephora would be soooooo hard!! When were at the mall, Fiance tries to be sneaky by taking me down hallways that avoid Sephora because he knows I’ll spend too much time and money in there lmao.

If I had to choose one thing though right now, it would be Philosophy Fudge Cake Shower Gel. I don’t have much left and would hate to run out! Smells genuinely like fudge chocolate cake, and leaves my skin and bathroom smelling like it for hours. YUM!

Most items I get there are for my oily skin.

But things that all skin types might find useful are:

  • Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush which is awesome, and
  • Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner which seriously lasts and lasts.

Two products from Sephora I highly recommend: Urban Decay’s Primer Potion (eyeshadow base) and All-Nighter setting spray. They are amazing, and make you make-up last without creasing fading!

I also like Bare Minerals, you could get a starter set for $30-40. I am also a perfume addict, and that would get you half of a smaller bottle of perfume!
