I’m a big fan of couple/group costumes… In college I always matched/coordinated with my roommate and now that I’m with my Fiance we try to do couple’s costumes…
In the past I’ve been:
Last Year: Snow White and Prince Charming (I made his costume btw… totally awesome!)
2009: Lady Luck and a Roulette Dealer
2008 I was with my Ex and he was lame so we had stupid costumes and no pictures… and no one could figure out who we were.
2007: The year of Super Heros with my roommate… I was catwoman she was wonderwoman (we didn’t get a picture together for some reason)
2006: Pirates!! (I had pretty awesome pirate boots and a hat to go with this outfit too) (Easiest/cheapest costume to make, btw…)
2005: Gangsters! (unseen: pinstripe mini skirt, thigh high leggings and stripper heels oh how it was fun to be skanky in college! 
)

Last year, I wore the authentic Dirndl I bought in Munich when I was there for Oktoberfest a few years ago. I have a 1-liter glass stein to go with my outfit too! My Fiance dressed as a 1970s-era gym teacher:

I live for Halloween! Great thread btw! Every year we are zombies… now that we are engaged its zombie bride and groom this year!!!

I’ve been an X-rated Girl Scout, Dr. Livingston, a marijuana cigarette (for real!), a mad scientist, a brain sturegon (yes that is spelled right) and a Dental Floss Rancher from Montana. No pics, I am at work right now!

I was a vampire last year. I had realistic bite marks in my neck but they’re covered by my hair.
FH was a sock monkey
And Riley was the headless horseman’s horse;)

Last year Fiance was Han Solo and I was Princess Leia. This is the only one I have at work.
I don’t have pictures of other costumes here but I usually make them myself. My sewing machine is broken though, so in the past couple years I haven’t made any. I’ve made a Quidditch uniform (along with a Harry Potter one for my brother that same year), a pirate costume that’s been through many incarnations, and a medieval dress. I out together a secretary costume a couple of years ago and yeah, last year I bought a Princess Leia costume.
This year the plan is to be Codex from The Guild!

We were the 5th Element crew and went to NYC to celebrate the night as well. I made everything by hand 🙂

Football Ref in 2007
Nothing in 2008 (was really sick that year)
Fanta Girls in 2009
And Rockford Peaches (from a League of Their Own) in 2010
Plan on being Jem and the Holograms this year!
