herrera2016 :  I’m assuming you’ve gone for an alternative color before if you’re considering something so dramatic. My only thing about green is that it fades to such a gross dusty green color which would require a lot of up keep to maintain a nice shade.

Not a fan but it’s your hair!

If I would do green, I’d do it like this..

More subtle and less upkeep? If that’s not your style, I’d say go for what you have in mind! It’s only hair! My only concern would be what it would look like as it fades.

I love it! My BFF and Maid/Matron of Honor is totally one for fun hair colors, she’s done Marge Simpson blue, dusty purple black, grey, and teal which turned into a chlorine blonde green. You know when someone’s hair is super white blonde and then they swim in the pool too much and it turns sickly?

So as long as you aren’t bleaching it and then dyeing, or redye weekly, you’ll be great!

I think it will be beautiful and subtle (but super striking in sunlight). I would just keep the color toward the bottom of your hair (if you put it in the front) or more toward the sides and back of your head. Green can be hard to wear around the face without making almost everyone look sallow.

I did blue, its fun, but it sucks to upkeep. However with each coloring my hair kept the color better. Not saying it was as bright…but it was still blue. The first few months it faded and the first time I think it faded in two weeks.  I got the back of my hair done as a peekabo kinda thing.

I have dark brown hair that had to be stripped to put the color on, otherwise it wouldn’t have taken it.

If you hate it then you hate it and you can get it recolored.  I’m thinking about doing a blue streak in my hair. I miss it, but I’ll probably do it after the wedding.

    Do it!

I think it’s gorgeous. I saw a girl in Ulta with this the other day and I couldn’t stop complimenting her on it. She was probably wondering why this kooky old lady kept staring at her. Didn’t think I’d ever care for GREEN hair but it was really quite lovely!

I think the way you did it is subtle enough to look okay except for the fringe bit, in my view it’s not very flattering and would colour it dark to match the rest.

In general the inspiration photos looked to me like hair dye gone horribly wrong on people who otherwise have lovely hair so they could kind of pass off anything.

I think that will potentially wash out your skin and make you look ill…
