I am used to the Hubs sleepwalking. But this happened last night and I thought it was so funny that I had to share.
I guess it was about 1 AM and I hear him get up out of bed. He grabs his laundry hamper and walks to my side of the bed. He leans down and opens our dog’s crate and starts throwing clothes in the crate. The poor dog had this “What did I do?” look on her face.
By this time, I am fully aware he is sleepwalking and I asked him what he was doing. He gave me this “Are you a [email protected]@” look and simply said “Duh, I am throwing the clothes in the dryer.”
I got up and gently led him back to bed where he proceeded to go back to snoring. I then removed the clothes from the dog’s crate, patted her on the head apologetically and went back to bed myself…trying not to laugh the whole time. Of course, he did not remember any of it this morning.
I know this isn’t wedding related, but I got a laugh out of it and hope y’all will too.

Ahahahhaahahah that is awesome! “Duh, I am throwing the clothes in the dryer” That’s awesome.
I’ll have conversations with Darling Husband when he is asleep. Sometimes he’ll wake up in the middle of it and realize what he did. Then he gets all cranky about it, lol.
Both my brothers were notorious sleepwalkers. One tried to go outside at about 10pm with a towel because he was going to go swimming in the pool.

OH wow! The dog is going through the delicate cycle in the dryer… 😉
That is really funny but a tad bit scary too! I know some interesting things can happen with that sleep disorder!

I couldn’t help but laugh – poor puppy! Maybe it’s time to put bells on his pajamas? 🙂

@cincychick35:Hahahahaaaaaaaa, I’m sorry but this is just hilarious. I can’t stop laughing, “Duh, I’m throwing the clothes in the dryer!”
Fiance was talking to me the other night, said something about a basket.

My husband is a sleepwalker/talker too! Last night I hear this rustling around the closet. He was pushing all the hangers around and when I asked him what he was doing he said he was looking for the bathroom. I then led him to the right place. It is not the first time he has done that!

This is funny!!! Made me chuckle at work, so thank you!!

That is too funny! I don’t know if I would have been able to hold it together!

LOL! You need one of those alarms that goes off if a fall-risk patient tries to get out of bed

My Fiance once enjoyed a snack of sardines with hot sauce during one of his episodes… the smell is what woke me up…he didn’t remember any of it!

hahaha that is so funny! my Fiance does this sometimes but never this involved. he’ll get up out of bed and stands there talking, and I get him back into bed. but i don’t think I could hold in the laughter if he did what yours did.

Wow thanks so much for sharing…I was not having the greatest morning and this was absolutely hilarious! Cheered me up so much! I just kept picturing your poor dog, so confused as your hubby starts chucking clothes at him!

Hahahaha! Poor puppy! She was probably so confused!
Fiance doesn’t sleepwalk, but I used to, and my dad and grandpa did, too. I grew out of it, but I guess my grandpa never did. So if you and your Darling Husband have kids, watch out, they might sleepwalk, too!

Yes, the poor dog didn’t know what the heck was going on. And she is such a cute dog!

haha, that is too funny! I’m the sleepwalker in our relationship, except most of the time I apparently just sit up in bed and start babbling about stuff. Darling Husband wakes, up, realizes I’m talking in my sleep, and just plays along with whatever I’m saying until I go back to sleep. i never remember any of it!
