I live in southern Ohio. We’ve been getting hit with a bad run of storms the past couple days. Currently our county is under a tornado warning.
Go figure, the day I finally go to bed early enough to get some decent sleep, all hell breaks loose.
Not a happy camper. 🙁
Any other bees having weather woes?

@Potatoes: Yeah girl, I just saw a bolt of lightning where I am that almost made my heart skip a beat. It is monsooning outside. Plus high winds and hail. :o(

I’m in northern Wyoming and the wind feels like it’s going to blow our house down… Darling Husband is asleep and storms always terrify me.

Western NY… I’ve been up due to a thunderstorm… Literally shaking my house… I think it’s finally calmed down enough to sleep!

The storms rushed through Indiana just before reaching you. My fiance and I had just exited a building on the campus of Purdue University when the tornado sirens went off. We literally sprinted to our car, which was parked in a parking lot about a mile away, while the lightning struck, the thunder roared, and the rain poured. Thank goodness we made it home safely! I’m not going to lie, I love storms… I really, really love them (my favorite type of weather), but this storm was definitely not for those who don’t like them. Also, night time is most definitely the worst time for storms like these to occur.
I do hope all is well! Keep us updated!

Be safe up there! We had our share of storms and tonardoes this past weekend in NC. So scary especially when driving in it.

We didn’t have it that bad, the most we got was thunder and hail, although I still had to go out in it after work, and it didn’t feel too good then. I hope you’re okay and the weather’s better for you!

Indiana got it a lot worse than we did. I hope all our INDY bees are doing okay.

We had some nasty weather where I live too. We got thunderstorms and hail all night. No warnings or watches for us though, thank God. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep at all if the weather had any possibilty of turning severe.
I hope everyone is ok!

Hope everyone is OK in the midwest. I heard on the news last night they had to evacuate the St. Louis baseball stadium! We are due for severe storms here in PA this afternoon. Stay safe, everyone!

I live in Columbus and apparently we had tornado sirens going off around 2:30-3am?? I woke up to a newsfeed on fb full of talk about the sirens and tornados. Darling Husband and I slept right through! No clue. I’m glad our house is still standing! lol
