Among other troubled areas, my legs are high on that list. They have cellulite all over my thighs starting right above my knees. It doesn’t help that I’m pale (I’ve don’t do tanning beds and have tried the salon’s spray booths and doing it myself with spray or lotions). I also have vercoise veins on my thighs. Needless to say not a pleasant sight. Thus why I HATE with a passion to shop and wear swimsuits. I wish they made suits that not only was a little skirt but something that offered more coverage for those who don’t like their legs. The last few years I’ve work tankinis. I wouldn’t dare step out in anything that didn’t provide my thighs some sort of coverage.
I was wondering what suits you ladies have chosen.
I’m shopping not only for the summer but also the honeymoon swimsuit. I know my hubby to be loves me despite my legs but this is more of a self conscious issue among others at the beach and pools.

I usually wear a nice swim top and board shorts.
Have you looked into something like that maybe to cover your legs?

I’m right there with ya. I suggest checking out Always for Me for plus size suits with coverage (& style). I haven’t been able to find any suit with adequate leg coverage but I’m planning on purchaing this suit and then wearing these shorts with it…

I second (third?) the board shorts. They’re made for the water, and I feel like do a better job of covering up. Helps with my insecurity. 🙂

I also wear (men’s) board shorts.

I love wearing shorts in the water! I don’t know… if I’m not going to prance around town in my underwear, I sure ain’t going to do it at the beach.

I bought my last 2 bathing suits from ShapeFX, they have Spanx built in, so they really slim you up. I always buy my shorts or sarongs seperatly, I dont like the combo bathing suits.
I wear a size 14/16

What about bermuda shorts? Those are in style now and go down to just above your knees! I saw some at Torrid.
