Time for your brother to leave!! I also live in NYC and get super-nervous when anyone talks about coming to visit. I don’t like having people over even for just 1 night!! DH’s younger cousin has totally invaded our space twice now, showing up unannounced with no place to stay and just expected us to roll out the red carpet for an entire weekend! You don’t go to visit a married couple in a 1 bedroom apartment and just expect to stay as long as you want. I’m so sick of people taking advantage of us!

uh oh. for some reason I didn’t even think about “sexy time” when we told my SIL that she can stay with us over this next semester….. CRAP! We do it whenever and where ever we want now…. man!! that sucks! I feel your pain!

@TinyTina: ummmm… I’d be FURIOUS with my SO.  In fact, I HAVE been ticked at him when we let his son stay over (his son is 18 and lives with my FI’s ex- in the basement of her house) and decided to stay up late with him.  It’s like my Fiance doesn’t want to come to bed at all since his son is there.

I understand it since they don’t see much of each other, but COME ON!!!  it’s one thing to do it on a weekend when I don’t have to get up early; it’s another when I do!  (did I mention we also live in an apartment? 2 bedroom – but our youngest two get the other bedroom.)

if it were me, i’d have torn into my Fiance by now about his gaming with my little brother… but that’s just me.  (of course, I’m also the one who lures my Fiance into the bedroom for fun frequently, too! LOL!)

hope this gets smoothed out soon for you!!!
