I agree about the strengths and weaknesses question! Hate that one!

@UpstateCait: LOL that is hilarious.

I know someone who got asked during an interview “If you could be any animal, what would you be?” He answered “sasquatch” hehe.

Totally random, but when I was applying for grad school, one of the other candidates was asked how a soccer ball is manufactured.  It was totally unrelated to anything that was being discussed.  They just wanted to hear his thought process.

I once was asked “if you could change anything about today, what would you change?”, I immediately answered “I would have worn different pants, I feel fat today”. Thank god it was a woman interviewing me, I think I caught her off guard and we both had a good laugh. I think it worked for me, I got the job 😉

@Nola: No kidding and I am always confused if I should mention anything about my personal life or just keep it strictly business. In one of my interviews, I took a stab and mentioned something about me personally when asked that question and the women interviewing me ended up sharing the same interest and we hit it off. I got the job 😉

My answer for the weakness question is usually “I am too self critical and too much of a perfectionist” haha – it might be BS but BS usually works!
