Just found out we have a party coming up soon; it’s a $30 limit gift exchange thing (where you can steal gifts etc.) for a mixed group of mid/late 20 year-olds. I have a blanket already, so I’m looking for something that will “fit” to pair with it, to make a great crowd-pleasing creative (and like $20) gift. I am not feeling very creative right now, so any help would be appreciated!

How about a book light, or a journal, or a nice pen set. If you have a Tuesday Morning close to you, that is a great place for those kinds of gifts.

@bride123: Maybe a cocktail recipe book? Plenty of twenty-something’s love alcohol 😉

What about a bottle of wine and wine glasses with the blanket? Sounds perfect for an evening of cuddling.

Hot chocolate gift set? You take a nice mug and put a little bag of marshmallows in it and a small package of hot chocolate/cocoa mix and wrap it in cellophane. Might go well with the blanket (kind of a cosy night in gift)

people always fight over gift cards

@bride2beIn2012: Yeah, I’ll probably end up going that route. Thank you.

I’d fight over a nice bottle of wine… you could make it a cozy night under the covers type theme… 🙂

At our parties the presents with booze and giftcards included are big hit. Me? I got a “holiday” platter and 3 cheese knives…regift!

@camrie: LOL, yeah, booze and gift cards were my original plan, and I think I will stick with it. They have the best track record 🙂
