We’ll be spending Thanksgiving with FI’s family this year (my family doesn’t really celebrate). His mother has all the majors under control (turkey, stuffing, mashed, cranberry sauce, etc…) so I’ve been assigned with the appetizers. I’ll be making buffalo chicken dip and swedish meatballs that are to die for!!
If you’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving, what are you bringing to dinner? Or are you taking on the task of hosting it yourself?
ETA: Now that I think about, maybe I’ll make a broccoli casserole too since my Future Mother-In-Law always makes veggies that Fiance and I dont like. Does anyone have a yummy broccoli casserole recipe?

Bacon wrapped weenies (I’m from WI,that should explain those), and proably a dessert-either a cookie dough cheesecake or a triffle with cake, strawberries, kiwi, and raspberries.
A plate of different bars and cookies is always good. Or some kind of chips and dip (think artichoke or queso cheese dip) are always easy too.

I’m bringing everything. Thanksgiving is at my house this year and I haven’t made a turkey since back in my college days!

Mashed potatoes. I like to throw down in the kitchen, but we are going to FIs family and his mom doesn’t like anyone in the kitchen but her. The only reason she let’s me make mashed potatoes is cause it doesn’t take long and then I wont be in the kitchen as long.

I asked my Future Mother-In-Law what she wanted me to bring and she said, “Well…everything is already taken care of. I bought everything I can think of. Oh! I did forget the rolls, you can bring those!” Hahahaha
I have it super easy this year.
