I haven’t had anything alcoholic in 5 months because we’re TTC, but I’ll be quite safe to drink on New Years and I can’t decide what to buy to drink because it’s been so long! I can’t stand vodka or beer and I usually love a good Irish Cream and TGIF Mudslide. Anyone have any new ideas for me? I’m open to anything, including mixed drinks. Even if it’s not a new idea for me, I’d love to hear what you plan to have!

Champagne! Got some Yellow Tail Rose champagne and the good ol’ Bambino; will likely end up picking up some Goldshlager or Fireball as well for shits and giggles.
I’m pretty simple when it comes to drinks. I’d prefer wine and shots over mixed drinks anytime XD

Nada! First booze free NYE in a looooong time. Everybody is cutting back now that the holidays are complete. BUT, if I was drinking, it would be bubbly all the way! 🙂

Probably some “happy juice”, aka apple cider + dark rum + cinnamon schnapps or a bottle of voulet…. one of the two. 🙂

Our friends have a very well stocked bar and we’re already claimed our crashing spots for the night.

Most likely a lightbodied red wine such as a beaujolais. If I’m making it a night of wine drinking, I try to avoid heavier wines. Some sort of sparkling wine at midnight, of course!
We’re having a dinner party with friends that night and I will be making my crab mac and cheese, can’t wait!

@Ashley_P: You go girl. Boxed wine is usually awesome. I live in PA, so our Targets don’t sell booze. I hope they have an Up & Up brand wine.

Sparkling apple cider. Maybe some wine if I get off my lazy ass and go pick it up from the store down the street.
I’ll be alone for NYE, my husband is deployed and will briefly be home on the 2nd before he leaves again, so maybe we’ll have our own belated celebration then.

Apple cider. Only alcohol hubs will drink. 🙂
