I am paranoid (okay minorly aware) of my clearing my throat every day after I eat lunch.  It goes on for about 20 minutes every 30 seconds and I hate that some people might be annoyed but I can’t control it.

I talk outloud. Seriously. My office is hell. NOONE talks and we have an open floor plan. So, I talk. Mainly cuz it’s my own little “f-you” to the silent master – BOSS. haha. It can be silly things, like earlier today I mentioned that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are divorcing. Or, I may ask a co-worker how the day is going – did I mention no one talks?

All I can think of is the fact that I’ve been on a lot of personal calls lately because Darling Husband and I are buying an apartment. I can see how that would be annoying to people around me who are working and trying not to listen in on my calls.

I do a lot of highlighting at work and when my highlighter starts to run low it makes a squeaky sound on the paper. Apparently, for the girl who sits next to me, this is like nails on a chalkboard. I didn’t even realize it made a sound until one day she was like “omg get a new highlighter!!” other than that…not sure..thats the only complaint ive gotten so far…

I am constantly stuffy or runny so I am blowing my nose several times a day. I’m sure people would appreciate if I walked to the bathroom but its all the way across the floor and that would be a LOT of trips to the bathroom!

There is no longer a receptionist at my work, so the things that she would do regularly (file, log faxes, keep up with copiers toner/paper, etc.) have to be done by everyone. Except I don’t do them. Ever. I hate filing, I don’t care about the faxes, and I have no problem leaving the copier without paper. I don’t know why I’m so anti-receptionist work, but I’m sure it pisses everyone off.

Although I do answer the phones 90% of the time now, which I think is the worst part of being a receptionist. But gah I hate hearing it ring more than once!

When I am working, often times I ignore completely ignore everyone else.  I usually am concentrating so hard that I don’t notice when people are speaking to me! Also apparently when I am thinking that much I make a “mean” face and people think I am pissed off.

When I go into the office I can be very anti-social.  I have my headphones in and heads down working.

I also eat every meal at my desk so Im sure thay get sick of that.  Good thing I am only there 2 days a week.

I work in an office building but my cubicle is located all the way in the back in a seperate room. I’m always alone back here, and it gets so damn lonely! People probably think I’m annoying because when I do see people (in the kitchen/breakroom) I get word vomit from not having human interaction all day. Lol. I can’t quit talking!

I type loud and fast and I love a crunchy honeycrisp apple around 3pm.

haha, I’m trying to think of something that might annoy my co-workers.  My supervisor FB’ed me last week saying the office was really quiet without me around (I took a day and a half off, sick) so maybe I’m loud?  Or maybe she just meant I’m always talking to someone which is probably more accurate.  I know that my manager gets annoyed with me because I plan a lot of the events at work, I’m a perfectionist and I get paranoid and over analyze some of the plannings and he’s constantly telling me not to worry about it so much.  He’s also ex-military and so he’s like “Ryansgirl, I’ve seen people get shot, people shoot others, etc.  This is NOT something to worry about”  So that always puts me into perspective, and I try to remember that when I’m planning the wedding too!!!
