Mine are size 4. I hate it because stores don’t carry my size 🙁

UK 6.5 (US 8.5) which is average. Your feet aren’t big OP.
my feet are 9.5-10… 8.5 if totally within the normal range IMO.
Um, wtf is she talking about?! That is right around most women’s size.
Im a size 5 so my feet are tiny.
I am a 6.5-7 though, but I also short so that probably has something to do with it.
I don’t think 8.5 is a large size. I am a 7-8 depending on the shoe/brand.
I’m 5’8″ and have size 11 feet. In my family anything smaller than a size 10 is petite.
I wear a 5.5-6 and occasionally purchase children’s size 4 if I see cute flats. Anyways, people always comment on how small my feet are so I always assumed the average was around an 8. I personally only know one other person with feet the same size as me, my mom.
ETA: According to the first couple of articles that Google showed, the average female shoe size in the US is an 8.5-9 which was close to my assumption of an 8 based on the females I know.
I’m a 7 usually, 6.5 wide when I can find it. I think of anything smaller than a 7 as small and anything bigger than a 9 as big. My husband is 13.5 wide!
How unprofessional and crazy. I have small feet around where I life (probably because I’m shorter than most women where I live) and I wear a size 8 in absolutely everything.
I think that falls in the average range. But it’s so rude for her to say that!! I work in shoes and I would NEVER comment on someone’s shoe size! Only if the customer brings it up first.
Personally I’m a size 7, average width. Total sample size! When I was living in California my feet were considered small to average. Here in Hawaii I was told they’re big for my height!’ (5’1″) So I guess it depends where you’re living!
They always display the smallest shoe they have because they are cuter and more attractice (as an object) to the people buying them. That does NOT mean that is the most common size. The average American woman wears an 8.5 – 9. If a person shops shoe sales, she will see that those sizes are gone faster than the others. I wore an 8.5 pre-pregnancy, and I wear a 9 now. Interestingly, I can still usually wear a men’s/children’s size 6 (perhaps because they are wider).
