US size 5 and it’s impossible to find shoes.
7.5-8 – I have wide short feet so I always take a larger size, it’s so annoying.
9.5 before kids, 10 after. 8.5 is way average lol. Don’t let it get to you.
That lady is crazy! My sister wears a 7 (she wore 5.5/6 before baby). My mom wears 8/8.5. I wear 10/11 depending on the width and cut of shoes. I have wide feet and a super high instep so MOST shoes do NOT fit me properly. Also, your feet can get bigger from standing all day. I wore a 9 in high school. They’ve gotten gradually larger the older I get (graduated 11 years ago) from working on my feet 40+ hours a week.
5 in heels, 5.5 in pretty much everything else. It is SO hard for me to find shoes, and almost impossible to ever find any on sale in my size. ๐
I have huge feet ๐ I’m a US size 10 and I’m 5’6″
I am a 5.5 and I hate how hard it is to find shoes. Some brands / stores don’t even carry below a 6.
I think 8.5 is a very average size.
I’m a UK 5 (well, one foot is 4 1/2 but that’s just awkward) I think that’s a US 7? I thought that was about average, but everyone I know is at least a size bigger than me, apparently I have tiny feet and never knew! if I got the conversion right, 8 1/2 really isn’t that big… I think most shoe stores here go to around a UK 8 (so US 10) as standard.
I’m a size 10 1/2 and I’m 5’8″. I have bigger feet than the other women in my family but I’m also the tallest. I’ve always considered 7 1/2-8 1/2 to be average. Don’t take the sales lady too seriously, that was a ridiculous comment. If your feet are big, I guess my feet are flippers. ๐
I think it has something to do with weight gain and bones spreading. Keep your feet up as much as possible and have DH rub them often ๐
