I buy what I want, I don’t need other people to buy it for me… so there is no list

Seriously!! I don’t need anything as if I want something I’ll buy it myself.

We are considering getting a yacht for this summer (southern hemisphere here ) so that can be our Christmas present.

I’ve already requested boring things like hiking boots 🤭

We don’t do big XMAS but I’m hoping for a DVD Boxset, maybe XFiles or The Sarah Jane Adventures. We only just got married, so money is a little tight right now and we really have everything we need.

I wish everyone would supply me with a xmas list because Xmas shopping really stresses me out otherwise.

I’m giving my Fiance a list- I want airpods, Chanel perfume and an instant pot!

Bath towels. We very much need new bath towels. Yes we can buy them ourselves of course but my family (well aunt mostly) is very list oriented so whatever I need at the time I just put on a list for her instead. And that’s all I’ve thought of this year lol!

ETA: I’m a bit of a minimalist so the list thing is great because then she gets me something practical I need (and vice versa) instead of a random gift to take up space. With my parents we try to do experience gifts instead of physical as they don’t really want any more “stuff” either. It’s not for everyone but it works for our family.

futuremrs2020 :  I imagine that few people are relying on someone else to buy them things… as in “if my husband doesn’t but me new socks, i guess I’ll just wear my shoes without socks. Maybe next year…”

It is, however, fun to get things bought for us & given to us out of love in celebration of a holiday.

We just closed on a house and has been at the top of every birthday and holiday wish-list so that’s finally done.

Probably the only thing I want for actual Christmas is a first Christmas married ornament for our tree 🙂

C’mon, Bee! Gift-giving is as old as civilization and a sign of love and comaraderie to boot.

A new suitcase for my hubby (bigger than carry-on size, but not giant).

A fire-proof safe, about the size of a mini-fridge (this is a family gift since we live in a high fire-danger area)

A new laptop for me; something small, lightweight, and fast (my current laptop is a 17.3″ monster/workhorse that’s too big to take with me everywhere; I need something travel friendly)

I buy myself a new purse every Christmas; this year, I got it 2 months early since it was on sale. And I LOVE it!

Adding to my answer that I want a blanket ladder! I’m also asking my Father-In-Law to build me a China cabinet. Hes a great craftsman and has made most of my IL’s furniture, and I recently acquired my family’s china so I’m excited about it!
