@sweetpea87:  Honestly?  The fact that I can’t have the wedding I planned for so many months until things fell apart.  My family doesn’t talk to me.  I still can’t seem to make friends after living here a year.  This was all just last night.  I rarely cry.

…sorry to be a debbie downer.

A dear friend of mine & a teammate of Fiance (he plays rugby) was killed last month in kind of a freak work-related accident (he did construction).  Apparently, just as something was about to fall, he ran up & shoved a guy out of the way and was crushed to death himself 🙁  I bawled like a baby because that is so completely typical of what he would do.  We all heard he saved someone’s life, and we were like, ‘yeah, that’s Joe…’  Oh my God I miss that kid.

This may sound silly but a mommy kitty holding/hugging her 3 week old kitten while they were both sleeping. It was a video on YouTube. I took in a stray and she was pregnant (we didn’t know this until she gave birth). We kept two of the kittens as well as the mommy and the “babies” will be two this month. It just brought back all of the emotions of watching our “babies” with their mommy which many people don’t get to see.

I went on holiday back to the UK and left my beloved cat and her three, month-old kittens with a friend I thought would look after them. Nobody looked after them properly, and they all died of infection whilst I was away, except for one kitten, my favourite, who survived for just a few hours after I came back before dying horribly. She weighed almost nothing… a bag of bones. When I left, they were happy, fat, vibrant animals.

I cried for days. I still want to cry now. This was last week. I watched those kittens be born and syringe fed them, in addition to their Mum feeding them, so that they would make great pets. I really loved them.

Realizing that I was going to be disrupting everyone’s lives because I will be recovering from breast reconstruction surgery for 6-8 weeks.

@sweetpea87:  I have the job, but that’s my life.  Work, sleep, and of course Fiance.  I love him dearly and to pieces, but .. well, I’m sure you know what I mean.  I’m always here to talk though.  =)  PM me if needed!

@Gemstone:  Me too! It was on cable about 2 weeks ago & that is the last time I cried. Seriously, I cry prob 10 different times throughout that entire movie. Plus the timing was interesting because my husband & I are going to Ireland in 2 weeks & are going on a day trip to the mountains where the movie was filmed.
