Face: I wash my face, sometimes moisturize it (if I think I have time to let it absorb) and put a primer on. I’ll either then put on foundation and set it with powder or just use a foundation powder. Sometimes a dab of concealer if I have a zit or something.

Eyes: Eye primer, shadow (usually from Urban Decay’s Naked or Naked 2) lid, crease and highlight, curl my eye lashes and apply mascara, shape and fill in my brows with wax/powder.

Cheeks: Nothing. I don’t use blush.

Lips: Usually just a lip balm, sometimes a gloss.

Finish with a setting spray all over my face.

@ryliellen:  Fun! Daily on a workday… After washing up I use:

Face: SPF 30 moisturizer always, with or without makeup! Anti-puff roller under and around eyes, concealer under eyes using concealer brush, L’Oreal liquid foundation mixed with a little moisturizer with makeup sponge, very sheer layer, brush on bronzer for contouring at cheeks, jaw and forehead for sun-kissed look

Cheeks: light pink blush on apples

Eyes: neutral tones to pink and berry shadow, thin black smooth milani liner, colossal mascara on upper and lower

Lips: SPF 30 lip balm, neutral to pink/berry matte with gloss or just gloss

Light dusting of translucent powder to set on T-zone (forehead, nose and chin)

Take off everything with non-oily makeup remover, cleanser, and night time moisturizer with retinol-A and/or Vitamin E.

Wash, then moisturize face with SPF 15.  Mineral powder foundation, slight amount of blush, nude eye shadow, mascara, lip gloss or Chap Stick.

@MissBoPeep:  That’s pretty much mine, too.  Although I do typically take a shower, get dressed, and comb my hair in between.  Wink

@MissBoPeep:  Yup!  Wake up, wash face with cold water to help wake up.  Brush teeth, get dressed, and go.

I have rosacea and lots of pimples and lots of red blotches so I don’t bother doing anything with my face. BUT on my wedding day, I will cover it all up with makeup!

No make up routine for me.  I rarely wear it.  There’s no point of me wearing it to work when I’m running around taking care of patients and sweating.

Fun thread!

Face: Wash face with clarisonic; Tone with witch hazel; Use a bit of Juno by Sunday Riley (my favorite beauty product – it makes your skin glow and it feels amazing) – http://www.sundayriley.com/index.php/facial-care/juno.html; Mix moisturizer with SPF with my new BB cream; dab of concealer; set with MAC powder

Eyes: Put on Sunday Riley eye cream, eye primer, set with loose powder, use eyebrow pencil; use various eyeshadows, I’m loving cream/gel liner right now for eyeliner; mascara

Cheeks: NARS blush, and then a bit of highlighter

Lips: Lip gloss.  Rarely wear lipstick.

PREPARATION

Wash face/apply Loreal Skin Genesis

Murad Oil control mattifier

Graftobian Aloevation under and around eyes(to prevent fine lines)

3 spritzes of ELF Mist and Set, Urban Decay All Nighter, or Mehron Barrier spray(whichever one I feel like using that day)

Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion or Hourglass Mineral Primer on perimeter of face

Benefit Porefessional on nose, inner cheeks and lower forehead

Urban Decay Primer Potion(or really any decent primer… too many to list) on eyelids

NOW MAKEUP

Apply an eyeshadow base, usually a MAC paint pot, Maybelline Color Tattoo, or a selection from Sleek Makeup’s primer pallette.

Eveshadow. This changes every day.

Stipple on foundation

Under eye concealer following the “triangle” technique

Contour cheeks and temples with a dark brown cream foundtion

This is where I would apply cream blush… but I rarely wear cream blush.

Pat on setting powder and buff off excess

Apply powder blush if I haven’t already used cream blush(I usually use powder blush)

Line Eyes

Apply mascara

Eyebrow Marker

Eyebrow Pencil

Eyebrow powder

Eyebrow Gel

Shape arch of eyebrow with concealer

Highlight parts of my face with selected highlighter of the day

3 more spritzes of spritzes of ELF Mist and Set, Urban Decay All Nighter, or Mehron Barrier spray(whichever one I feel like using that day) to set makeup.

Lip conditioner/balm

Lipgloss

Done!

It sounds like a lot… but it takes exactly 20 minutes. I don’t wear makeup unless I’m wearing a full face. It’s either this or none at all.
