Sedu, hands down best straightener on the market.

I’ve had my GHD for 7 years, best investment ever. It’s still alive, but I just wanted a new one (pretty pink patterns with a matching heat pouch) so I got one. I’ve got the old one as backup.

Definitely recommend GHD, pretty reasonably priced too, I did look into Cloud 9 but thought it was too expensive.

I used my Solia for about 10 years, and it was still working heatwise it hadnt skipped a beat, but I replaced it cause the plates jsut weren’t as smooth anymore.

I’ve had my Solia since 2008ish and it’s still good as new. In fairness, I don’t straighten my hair every day (or even close), but I’ve had other more expensive ones conk out well before that. My favorite flat iron is actually the Babyliss Pro, which I’ve had various stylists use on me and I loved the outcome. But I’ve never owned one because my Solia has lasted so long.

I’ve had the Paul Mitchell Express ion+ (I think that is the right name) for years and I absolutely love it.  It straightens my hair really well, really fast, and leaves it super soft. I bought mine through my hair salon because they are a Paul Mitchell salon, but I ordered one for my sister in law off amazon last year.. she loves it too!

I have just had YUKO japanese straightening. I now only need to smooth out some sections if i feel like it. My hair is very thick. used to take 45 minutes to blow dry, and now takes 10 minutes to blow dry straight. If you straighten your hair daily, I would seriously consider YUKO but not if your hair is highlighted or bleached

Paul Mitchell 100%. I think I have the express ion model like PP. It is seriously amazing (I have super coarse curly hair and this is by far the best). My sister is a hair stylist is this is the only brand she will use. In her opinion the CHI ones are overrated.
