if you want to be able to wear them with black, then cognac is really your best bet. I know you didn’t ask, but eeeek that bunched leather look makes me crazy! (unless it happens naturally of course)

Darker ones. Mostly because they are the same color as my new boots I got that are like that but suede instead of leather. I think it depends on what is your wardrobe more, brown tones or more black, I have WAY more black than brown so I got dark boots.

I think the lighter ones will be more versatile.

I love these boots! (Voted on the dark brown ones…but really like both colours).  Where are they from?

    What brand/style are those?

ETA: I voted for the lighter because I only have black/dark boots and I really want a pair in that color.

@bump:  Hmm…I’m probably not much help, because I REALLY like both colours…but I would probably end up going with the darker ones because I feel like I could match them with more things.  I noticed others have said that the lighter ones are more versatile…so, I guess they could both be versatile depending on whats in your wardrobe already.

I assume, that for $140 they are real leather?  If so, that’s actually a pretty fair price…I usually see boots like this for much higher.  Actually, they have similar styles at Winners for around $180 at the location near my office.  So, the price is probably pretty fair for what you get.

Thanks for sharing the info about them!  I’m going to check them out in person this weekend! lol…
