LMAO. OMG I was coming to post about “taking” some of mine, I fill my feeders and they’re empty in an hour (I think I am the only one with feeders in our area and we become bird highway) but that is too much. Ha 🙂
Ha! I know a few cats like that
LOL…that is funny 🙂 I don’t see anything wrong with it :)) I just don’t know what to tell you
I laughed so hard at this! What a cute kitty. Maybe he’s trying to, um, handfeed the birds? 🙂
@furtureffcaptwife: Actually that is the neighbor’s cat and he “visits” every morning. I have 4 feeders, 2 suet cages and three hummingbird feeders.
We have 4 species of woodpeckers, nuthatches, chick-a-dees, purple finches, house finches, cardnials, gold finches, blue jays, blue birds, Carolina Wrens, Killdeer, Mourning doves, Robins, and there are even eagles nesting nearby. Oh and the Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
The house has woods/vernal ponds in front and we have a creek and mountain at the back of the property. Sometimes on the creek there are ducks, egrets, herons and geese!
And I have seen two snapping turles in the yard since moving here. Here is a small one digging her nest to lay eggs!
Haha thanks for sharing, that was great!
Haha – that is awesome!
LOL! That’s awesome!! That’s a pretty big jump for the cat, holy cow!
That’s hilarious! Can I hire him for chipmunk prevention?
Hahahahahaha I love it!
Oh, and I am so jealous of the birds you get!
I get hummingbirds (the males are pretty dangerous in my yard, they`re known for diving at heads when they are bickering with eachother!).
I also get downy woodpeckers, white breasted nuthatches, chickadees, dark eyed juncos, robins (one tried to build a nest in the wheel well of DF`s truck!), bluejays, doves, northern flickers.
If I’m really lucky, I’ll get purple finches, gold finches and even rose breasted grose beaks!
One year we even had a mama grouse and her chicks hanging around…we have a bird dog though, so we had to be careful about letting him out when she was around!
