I haven’t seen it but I get your point. I personally do not also have much ‘respect’ for movies that are overly vulgar, have unnecessarily too much drug use, and focus too much on prostitutions. I do understand that some movies warrant situations where this is necessary but some movies just take it TOO FAR.

@pineapplez17: She’s probably topless, just so you know haha!
@Billsgirl: that’s just beyond insane. I could almost get over all the filth IF THERE WAS A STORY AT ALL. Nothing! No story!

@megz06: haha! I had no idea what to expect going in! But my eyes got REAL wide during that scene. I turned to Darling Husband and we just cracked up, because… out of all the penises in that movie one might want to see, it’s Jonah Hill’s…
Whether or not it was REAL?! Who knows… but it was shocking!

@BurlapnLace: +100000..Darling Husband and I left early as well as about 10 other couples. Snooze fest…Somebody forgot how to hit the edit button when they were finishing this movie up!

I didn’t see it but my husband did and thought it was great. No chance of me sitting through a 3 hour movie pregnant. There were some other posts on here about it mentioning all the sex and nudity. I asked my husband about it and he was like there was?! lol. Now i need to see it for myself.

The thing I don’t get about these complaints is, did y’all not look at what the movie was about in the first place? Maybe I’m unusual for looking at what a movie is about before I waste my money, but the debauchery in this movie was pretty well-publicized. I guess I don’t understand why anyone is surprised.

I saw it with my parents and 16 year old brother. We all actually thought it was a good movie. We’re a very Christian family and my mom gasp at each cuss word lol but overall it was a decent movie.

@MrsN14: OMG I’d be so uncomfortable!!! My mom was behind me the whole time, that was bad enough!!
IDK, I wasn’t even that impressed with Leo’s performance quite honestly. He just screamed for 3 hours.
I did laugh at the part where he was paralyzed at the country club. That’s about it!!

@BurlapnLace: were all the baton twirlers topless? She’s actually a really amazing twirler, so I assume that’s how she got the role. I saw pics of her in the costume. I can’t see her as someone who would go topless to be in a film–I figured she did it because she had the twirling skills.

@Billsgirl: I had wanted to see it, now I don’t know if I even want to pay $2 to rent it from a redbox. I wonder if netflix will have it. If I only watch 30 min at least it won’t feel like too much of a waste.

@BurlapnLace: But did you know it’s a true story? My Darling Husband watched the movie and then read the book – he said the autobiography is even more graphic and crazy. So I honestly don’t think they did it for gratuitous reasons That’s what his life was actually like.
@kittyface: Agreed.

@pineapplez17: I don’t remember, it’s all a blur lol. But honestly, there were very few scenes where women were clothed. Not even being sarcastic. Especially the scene with the twirlers and marching band. Come to think of it, I think they were in underware b/c I thought to myself, “Why??”
@MsGolightly: I KNOW!!! I’m sorry but no one could do that many drugs and survive. The only thing redeeming is if one of them OD’d, and THAT didn’t even happen!

@BurlapnLace: Yeah…this WAS NOT a movie to take a 16 year old to. Common sense goes a long way.
