Memberi live in the city, but none of my bridesmaids do and they wanted some help as to what places would be fun for a b. party. i don’t really want to go the route of lucky changs (been there done that, had a man smoosh my head between his very large breasts). i’m looking more for a cool lounge, bar, etc, that wouldn’t be SO crowded that the 15 of us couldn’t have a conversation, but i also want to have fun! ideas?
MemberI went to a really fun bachelorette party a few years ago in NYC that started at Mangia e Bevi, an Italian restaurant in Midtown with great drinks that specializes in bachelorette parties, so you can get up on chairs and dance with a tambourine or do crazy shots, or you can just sit and talk to each other too, so it was fun for all of us (there’s more info on their website, I think). Then we all went to the Donkey Show, where if you have enough people the bachelorette gets in free and gets a kit with like a tiara and all that — that was mostly dancing and a fun show, and probably too loud for conversation, but since we’d also had dinner together, we felt like we got both. I also went to another one where we got a private room for karaoke and they served sushi, and that was hilarious, but I’m sorry I don’t remember what it was called…anyway, I hope that helps!
