Maybe a nice dinner….depending on what you like there are a ton of options!!!!! A personal favorite of mine is Mint, which is an amazing Indian place in Midtown East. You could also try Max Brenner’s, which is an awesome chocolate place. Also find a fun bar to go dancing, (if you tell me around where in NYC u will be I can recommend a few, but there are so many it’s tough to list.) Where will you be staying? A night in a nice hotel would also be great!

there are so many different neighborhoods and spots that it really depends on what vibe you are looking for.  you say dancing, but do you want club scene (like meatpacking / sex-and-the-city vibe), or more laid back / no velvet rope vibe.  what kind of food are you looking for?  give us some more info on what you are looking for, and we can give you TONS of suggestions.  🙂

Maybe do a spa day? There are some nice spas in the city. Then you could go out to a nice dinner somewhere, like the West Village or Meatpacking District. Or you could go to the Brooklyn Flea Market or Soho and do shopping (depending on your price limit). I went to a karaoke place for a friend’s bachelorette party. You’re able to reserve private rooms so that you’re not singing in front of strangers.

Is Birdy’s Bachelorette Party still playing? It’s an interactive off broadway show. We tried to take my SIL there for her’s, but unfortunately they cancelled the show that night so I can’t tell you how it was, it looked fun though!

I say, go to Tortilla Flats (fun Mexican restaurant) then head to the West Villiage for some bar hopping and find a place there that you like to dance. If you like live music you could go to the Red Lion, or more of a hip-hop vibe – Alibi. You will have a blast no matter what!

Karaoke is always fun. Duets 35 is right in K-town and it is private room karaoke (no creepers, no singing in front of others, decent drink prices for NYC and they let you bring in food from outside, just bring plates and utensils) They have a sister location Duets 48, which is in the Sutton area, so a little further away from the craziness. I recommend both highly. There hourly rates for the day are like $8 per person per hour, I think the evening is like $12 per person per hour.

Also in the Times Square and walking distance area is a restaurant called Becco I really like. They have a great wine list that is only $25 for any bottle. Also, they make homemade pasta.

What time of year are you going?

What time of year are you going?

I definetly recommend The Frying Pan, it’s a bar on a barge/ship on the Hudson River near The Meatpacking District. It’s a lot of fun. Some other places I’ve recomendded for other Bees:

Murray Hill (more casual bars, usually has dancing but nothing too formal):

* Joshue Tree

* Bar 515

* VanDiemens (I had my bday party there and they were AWESOME. E-mail them and see what kind of deal they can set up for you)

Lower East Side (trendy in a more hipster type of way, lots of cool bars/lounges)

* Fat Baby (I love love this place, it gets crowded but if you get earlier you can secure a great spot)

MeatPacking (the heart of the club/dancing scene)

* Brass Monkey

* Any of the standards clubs probably won’t make a bachelorette party pay a cover. Just go to the front with your girls and tell the bouncer the occasion – they’ll probably let you right in.I  recommend Hotel Gansvoort, Marquee, Grennhouse, etc.

If you need more ideas and want to find deals I highly recommend Shecky’s Party Aid. Fill out a request and they’ll email you a bunch of options.

Also – for restaurants I highly recommend the Stanton Social. It’s in the LES and is very trendy, cool vibe, great food. It’s a tapas style menu so you just order lots of small plates and share. They also do a prix fix menu for groups, I think like $50/per person or something like that and it comes with a lot of food. My friend did that for a bachelorette party and it was awesome.
