i’ve heard great things about Bra Tenders in the theatre district–i’ve heard more about them for everyday undergarments, but i bet they have special lingerie as well. they have a wide range of sizes. you have to set up an appointment.

there’s also agent provocateur and eres in soho, although those can be pricey.

there are several bra specialty shops in NYC that you could call to see if they have specialty lingerie in addition to their everyday wear (although i have have a few bras that are supposed to be everyday but are quite cute–think all black lace)–town shop, bra smyth, etc.

Get thee to La Petite Coquette. It is located at 51 University Place, New York and their phone number is (212) 473-2478.

They are amazing.  The sales associates will fit and measure you.

if you have an idea of where the dress hits you (cleavage, etc), that’ll be helpful.

try the following places:

bra tenders (that’s where i got my stuff)

orchard corset (some bees have had good experiences there, i didn’t like the way they treated me when i returned the stuff b/c it showed under my dress)

It’s a good idea to bring the dress with you.  Since its low cut, you dont want the bra to show and you really want to make sure whatever bra you buy, looks best with your dress.

http://www.lavinialingerie.com has some nice items and they cater to busty women.  I’m not sure if they have a store but theres a nice selection online.

I’m a huge fan of My Intimacy on the upper east side (myintimacy.com).  They were featured on Oprah and are incredible.  I think online they have their designer collection – but I always got bras there at Victoria Secret prices.

I’m interested to hear comments on this one.  I want to do a boudiour shoot too and I don’t know where to begin on shopping for new lingerie.  I don’t want to be too exposed (like anything see thru) but still want to be sexy.

I was thinking about doing some shots in his favorite jersey and panties. And maybe one in his wedding tie and my garter.  but for buying new stuff…. I don,t know where to start.
