@mininycbride:  We are doing our wedding at the New York Botanical Garden and you can def get it for $150 pp including practically everything in the fall months or the Spring months (summer is obviously a little more although not MUCH more if you do a Sunday–we are doing a Sunday in June next year).  The caterer is Abigail Kirsch who is amazing. So far so good with them plus beautiful outdoor ceremony site!  You should check it out if your’e interested!  http://www.abigailkirsch.com

I looked at Prince George for our wedding. The ballroom is very gorgeous!  They have a list of recommended caterers at different price points (starting around $100 – $125 for food) that you can reach out to for more information. Abigal Kirsch is one their list, but is on the upper end of prices.

I recently added a fairly comprehensive list of the venues I looked at here.  We are having a smaller wedding (~100) but many of the spaces we looked at accomodate larger groups.

@mininycbride:  No prob.  It includes open bar (premium liquor like Ketel One etc) plus wine, beer (including local craft beers which my FH was really happy about), and sparkling wine served all night plus I think 2 manned stations for the cocktail hour plus 8 passed hor d’oeuves.  Then you choose I think 3 choices from about 30 options (not even kidding) for the main course and they are all really sexy food items like you’d find in a city restaurant.  E.g. we are probably going to pick Miso Black Cod as one of our options.  It also includes a salad AND an appetizer course plus they include the wedding cake AND a dessert course! People choose their entree at the table, not in advance, which is pretty neat.  It’s an all-inclusive price so you get one waiter per table, valet parking, ceremony site, reception site etc and they give you an “event manager” who also acts as your “day of” coordinator.  It also included a choice of 18 linens and napkins btw, which is pretty awesome.  Plus another thing that I liked was that they include lighting, they have a spotlight on each centerpiece for all the tables and they can do a rose colored lighting in the room INCLUDED.  My sister paid $5k at her wedding for the lighting.

I just think it’s an AWESOME value and it’s really beautiful.  The people I have worked with there have all been awesome.  I was working with a girl named Erin but she actually got promoted!  The girl I’m working with now is Jayme Silver and she is a doll.

Also of note, this is for the larger ballroom space, the Garden Terrace Room but they have a lower priced, smaller venue at the garden called the Stone Mill.  The Stone Mill is super cute but it only holds like 100 people which was WAY too small for us.  The Garden Terrace Room can hold up to 300.

Hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any other questions!!
