I’m looking to have a rooftop (or higher floor) wedding in NYC. Ideally, I would be able to have the ceremony in one room (or part of the venue) and the reception in another so guests don’t have to trek around the city. I checked out the Manhattan Penthouses on 5th today and the views were great, just didn’t feel “right.”
Does anyone know anything about the Glasshouses? My budget for the venue is 25K. Any other places you recomend in the city that’s similar?

Check out the W Loft in Williamsburg,BK. It has amazing views of the NYC skyline and you will def meet your budget depending on the caterer you use. I plan to have the ceremony indoors, cocktail hour outside, and reception indoors.

@mary016: We came so close to putting money down on the Gramercy Park Hotel for a Halloween night wedding!
It’s a great spot!
Hmmmmm – the budget might not fit. I think for 25K you could probably get 35-40 guests but that might be it. I would check with them in case!

check out penthouse 808 on top of The Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, Queens. It overlooks the Queensborough Bridge. My friend did her wedding there two years ago.
