Public Service Announcement: If you entered one of those contests for a free dress, check your email!! I actually won a running of the brides gift certificate, but didn’t get to the email in time to respond. They held it open for only like a 9 hour window!

If I hadn’t given up and bought my dress retail, I would be so sad πŸ™

@Nicole…I am going tomorrow prob around lunchtime with my mom, a friend and my cousin. i hear that its most chaotic in the morning and after around 10am, they start putting the dresses back on the racks. i think its going to be a fun time to go and see what they have. ive never been but like you, my wedding isnt til next yr. also and i figured what do i hav to lose? might as well go and see…maybe even find the perfect 1!

good luck!!!

I’m gonna be there! I ‘ve been saving my pennies! LOL.  I’m so psyched.  We found my cousin’s dress there last year!

We also got the booklet of “tips & tricks” from the lady that runs the sales. . .she emailed it to me. ..

It is only horrid and chaotic until like 10:30/11 — so arrive afterwards.  That is when they’ve pretty much thrown the dresses back on the racks and crowds are starting to thin.  Also the booklet said that out of the 850 girls in line there are only 200 to 250 actual brides.  And there are 2500 dresses — so our odds are good of finding the “one!”. . . WOOHOOO!

So we are ready to go! I’m so excited and thrilled. . .

That’s great!  I was torn about going because I am waiting for my mom to come to town for shopping in March (finally), so I decided to wait.  I’m super happy for you missjeyellegee!
