I would definitely chose W union square. The ballroom is gorgeous! Bridgewaters does have nice views, but the place has a litle bit more wear and tear. And the Seaport area isn’t so great!

I would definitely have picked the W if it was larger!! My wedding will probably be around 175 maybe even 200 so we couldn’t fit…

we’re having our wedding at Bridgewaters, and I’m really excited. We really wanted fantastic views, so we didn’t look at the W, and I didn’t look at Water’s Edge, but my fiance and I thought Bridgewaters was awesome, and the people who work there are super helpful and really a pleasure to work with, which really makes a difference. The venue does show some signs of age, but I think they’re pretty minor and I think they aren’t that noticeable once the venue is actually set up for your wedding. If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me!

We just saw Bridgewaters and it was nice but we ruled it out right away.  It seemed a little worn down and the boats on top of the ceiling were too outdoorsey. We didn’t love the lanterns on top of the ceiling in the larger space either.  I haven’t seen Water’s Edge or the W but from photos, I’d go with the W.  We would have looked into the W if we were looking for an elegant grand hotel wedding! However I wanted views/outdoor space so we went a different direction.  Plus you can’t beat Todd English food!
