@future.mrs.v: We’re working on pretty much the same things that you are. Finalizing the day of schedule and logistics, finalizing my salon appts, making signs for the tables, final meeting with the florist today to give her all our DIY supplies, need to order food for our rehearsal breakfast and snacks/lunch for the day of…

We’ve had a ton of late RSVPers and have to send in our final count to the caterer tomorrow. I think we finally have it down as accurate as possible (how do people still not know if they are working on NYE or not?! and didn’t they ask for it off?!).

We have family arriving on Sunday and Monday (just after Christmas). I’m excited for that!

I’m so last minute!  I just ordered all my alcohol- oops.  The store manager wasn’t too happy that I was cleaning him out of all the stock, oh well.

I’m pretty much doing all the same things.  Thankfully I don’t have to do seating charts and table numbers because it’s a cocktail reception.  I’m all for less work!

I just picked up my wedding band today.  Very pretty but almost a little too much bling.  I’m sure I’ll get used to it!

Everyone’s RSVP situation blows my mind.  Is it that inconvenient to give me a concrete answer?

@NYE Gal: Yay for cocktail receptions 🙂 I’m also happy to not be making escort cards and seating charts, esp. with this ridiculous RSVP situation!

I got married last Saturday so I just wanted to wish all of you a beautiful wedding! The last few days are crazy especially with the last minute RSVP changes but it will all work out perfect and it will honestly be the best day of your lives. I had about 10 small things go wrong at my wedding but I was so happy I didn’t even care. Enjoy it! It’s a blur! Good luck!

@Thummae:  Thank you for the well wishes!  I’m also hoping that I’ll not notice the small things that go wrong.

@sapphirebride:  No kidding- not that I’ve never not sent an rsvp back but being a bride is going to make me a more gracious guest in the future!

Oh and I do need to mention that the future groom still doesn’t have a ring!

@sapphirebride:  I just ordered one from overstock! haha

On a little sour note- in the last 24 hours i’ve had three people who previously said they were coming say they aren’t!  I already paid the caterer….I wrote the cheque for the 24th so I’m going to firm up my numbers and e-mail him….

@NYE Gal: UGH, we had someone write to say that they are having “vehicle problems” and won’t be coming and we just submitted the final count to the caterer yesterday. And several family members who are still saying “if I don’t have to work.” This has been the most frustrating part of the whole process!
