As per usual these days, it seems every time I have a “I wonder what other people do” questions, I turn to the hive.
When I go for my yearly woman check, it’s no problem to shave my legs. I have to admit now that I’m married, I don’t shave my legs as often—once a week-10 days. Darling Husband doesn’t seem to notice. But now that I’m starting infertility treatment and going a lot more, that’s what is stressing me out—all the shaving.
I’m particularly interested in ladies that have to go frequently, either infertility treatment or pregnancy or something else that necessitates many looks at your who-ha. Do you shave every time you go to see them? Is that more frequently than you would otherwise?

Legs- shaved clean. It’s other areas that I am unsure about…

I shave my legs up to and including my knees every day just because my skin gets really itchy if I don’t. I only shave my thighs/above the knee like…once every 1.5-2 weeks? Maybe that often, probably not even that. When I’m going to the OB though I do shave my thighs too just because I feel weird not lol.

My Darling Husband makes fun of me because I always wake up early in the morning before my OB/GYN appts. to shave. He says, “You don’t shave for me, but you shave for the doctor?!?!” Yes! I always shave before I go and it is more frequently than I normally shave.

I shave everyday or my legs will be dry and itchy but I will say before my last IUI I was so stressed and tired I personally didn’t give a shit. I work night shift and worked the night before and I just wanted to get it over with.

How ’bout an option for “Meh, some days I care, some days I don’t” ?
‘Cause that’s me, lol. It depends on the season, how busy I am that particular day, etcetera, etcetera. If I feel like it, okay. If not, okay. (The debate is null and void in the summer, I shave every other day then)

I don’t care as much about my legs, as I do my who-ha!
I like them to get a clear as picture as possible so they can get in and out faster 😉 haha

Going to my annual gyn. appt., I always shaved. Now that I’ve been going to the RE for a year and SO many visits, I could honestly care less. I never go with more than a few days of stubble, but the fact that I’m going to the doctor for yet another ultrasound isn’t even on my radar when it comes to shaving.

I shave every day w/ or w/o a Dr. appt. I hate feeling my legs scratch up against each other.

I am crazy about shaving. I rarely go a day without doing it. I hate body hair! I even shave my arms, I hate it so much. The only reason I would go to the drs without shaving is if I am running late 😛

I voted “Don’t care if they see 5+ days of stubble”.
But really – I don’t even think about the status of the hair on my legs or who-ha when I’m going to the doctor. And sometimes I lazy and won’t shave the whole week. So if that happened to be the current status of my hair – well then I guess that’s what they’ll see!

@Eva Peron: this and @Marriedandlovingit: that!
My lower legs I had laser treatments so not so bad. But I do take care of my thighs and personal areas before I go to the doctor.
I usually wax, so it’s rarely a problem, but if I didn’t get to it a few days prior, I’ll shave because it’s faster…

I shave every day, regardless. I can’t stand stubble touching my jeans. Ugh.
But I do make sure my lady bits are nice and trimmed up for the doctor when I go in for exams. I prefer her to look her best when strangers are taking a gander. 🙂

Honestly, I shave 1-2 times DAILY anyway, so there’s your answer! I can’t stand hair or stubble!

@Eva Peron: LMAO! I think everyone on WB has a “clearer” picture as well.
I am overly picky about shaving and I shave everywhere (yes, everywhere) pretty much on a daily or every other day basis. I hate the feeling of hair stubble.
