It’s another Friday night, fellow bees! What are you up to? Myself, I’m cranking out final papers like it’s nobody’s business, cuddling with my cat, and eating ice cream. (Very poor form, I know, but who cares.) I am in general recovering still from my BFF’s Bachelorette Party from Wednesday night.
We went on a pub crawl through Northampon, MA starting at the Northampton Brewery and ending up at DIVAS nightclub. We were all very drunk and stayed the night in the Autumn Inn, which I can’t say enough good things about. The ladies at the front desk were all very kind and informative of the area and the inn, the inn itself was so awesomely adorable, the rooms were completely cozy and had plenty of room for the four of us girls. DIVAS was amazing, it’s a LGBTQ-friendly nightclub. We made friends with a crossdresser and the bride got kissed by a girl (much to her dismay and her fiance’s amusement). The bride also got pulled up onstage during the drag show and made a spectacle of, which she loved.
I had a small beef with the third girl present, she doesn’t intend to go to the wedding (so I don’t know why she was even there!) and refused to contribute any cash towards paying for the bride’s drinks or food (in fact, she even made the bride’s sister pay for HER food and drinks) and didn’t have much of value to say. That said, she did make for some amusing conversations and she DID manage to get a few people to buy all of us about 3 or 4 rounds of shots, so that was pretty great.
I danced my butt off!
I also had to walk for an hour to get back to the hotel because we were all too drunk to google a cab company! Oh well, we needed the exercise.
TL;DR: We got drunk and danced at a LGBTQ bar and had the times of our lives and I’m so going back for my birthday next month. It’s been decided.
So tonight! I’m thinking of trying on my bridal regalia and taking pictures so I feel like my wedding is actually happening at some point. Anyone wanna see?
What are YOU up to tonight?

I’m sitting my pregnant butt at home trying not to puke as Mr. D makes dinner. Poor dude. I probably will also adhere to my new 9 o’clock bedtime…which is awesome.

@Omgbunnies: It sounds like you had a blast at your friend’s bachelorette party!
@Jw1724: My fiance is working tonight as well.
I have a bunch of things on my to do list for the weekend, but I’m feeling lazy tonight and really just want to listen to music and post on the Bee … And maybe do some laundry since I probably should have some clean clothes available.
I feel really boring this weekend. I have a manicure tomorrow morning, I’ll volunteer tomorrow (I always do on Saturdays), I need to finish a presentation I’m giving at work on Monday, I have some wedding-related stuff that needs to get done, and, of course, the aforementioned laundry. Last weekend was much better since I actually went out with friends and spent a lot of time with my fiance and his family. This weekend is just filled with a lot of “tasks.” I think the presentation will be the most time consuming.

Currently dealing with a missing payroll check courtesy of UPS and their ineptness.
Hubby is coaching a soccer game and won’t be home till after 10pm so I have the house to myself for a few hours. I’ll be able to enjoy this me-time once I get the payroll issue resolved.
Trying to come up with a healthy dinner plan (I’m running a half-marathon on Sunday so anything dairy, fried, or fatty is out) but the only thing that sounds appealing is a PB&J sandwich.

Saturday morning here in Korea. Had pizza eggs for breakfast (take a slice of leftover pizza, cut into small sections, sautee in butter for a couple minutes until the bottom is brown and crispy, add scrambled egg stuff to the pan) and enjoying some frozen cheesecake now. 🙂
FH and I are probably going to watch some episodes of Castle today (just started season 4, catching up way too fast)

@Omgbunnies: Had dinner at our favorite Asian restaurant with FH’s frat brother. Then they stayed out to hit the bars downtown. I went home after dinner because I am still recovering from my LEEP procedure and walking around downtown would be painful.
Watching New Girl Season 2 on Hulu Plus while finishing some laundry.

I have been and currently am doing nothing, like all my other Friday nights. Earlier I nuked a can of Chef Boyardee Spaghetti & Meatballs in lieu of actually cooking dinner. Spent some time volunteering online on a virtual chat site I’m part of, perused the forums, played a silly game on Facebook. Yep, typical night for me 😀
I may or may not hit up my hidden stash of Dove Chocolates later. Was incredibly emotional/bitchy earlier. Chocolate always helps! 😀
