Doing watercolor for our save the dates, I really like it so I don’t mind it’s too trendy or whatever. Haven’t decided what we’re going to do for the invites themselves but I’ll prob use the same colors at least.

I was literally just looking up watercolour invites on etsy! I think they’re so pretty. Sure, they’re somewhat of a trend but watercolour is still a classic artform… it’s classy and beautiful!

I love watercolor invites. I was debating something like the first you posted but decided I wanted something floral so we went with these: http://www.minted.com/product/wedding-invitations/MIN-HJO-INV/fresh-watercolor-floral

I got so many compliments on them and several people asked if I had painted the design myself. i feel like watercolor invites are trendy but no one in my circle had seen ones like them before.

mhm, they’re so yum! I’m totally fine with it being trendy now, the more watercolor invitations I get the happier I’ll be!

MissAmericanPie:  We’re watercoloring and letterpressing our diy invitations. I LOVE the first pic you posted. Our own aren’t as fancy as that, but we really like how they turned out!IMG_5976 - resized and rotated and edited
