@vorpalette:  Lol I couldn’t handle that! Maybe I need to have this talk with Fiance before we get married because I feel pretty strongly about my clear lights in a warm tone 🙂 Glad your Fiance doesn’t care.

Oh, also I saw cranberry pearl colored lights the other day at target….that I want.  Mainly because they’re pearl shaped and look like little berries.  lol…..we may buy those.  I told him last night they were on sale and he looked at me like do we need more lights?  LMAO

Maybe.  Not really…but they look like berries!!!!  Wahhhh =P

I like clear lights. They’re a nice backdrop, and all of our ornaments bring in tons of color.

White lights only, and preferably ones with warm tones more than blue.

I use 20 strands of white lights and 2 strands of multi color at the children’s insistance. I also have one set of musical red bells on my tree. We do not use overhead lights during the holidays. Between the tree and the icicle lights in the windows it is plenty bright!

We have a few strands of white and a strand of green. It was more or less a combination of whatever DH and I brought into the marraige. So we put the white on first and found some green lights and thought it’d be pretty to add them as well.

This is a shot I took before we put the ornaments up…

@Blush.Champagne:  Thank you, that’s so sweet of you to say!  We have a lot of classic looking ornaments on our tree too.

    Honeymoon Pineapple from Hawaii 😉

I just love the sparkle of white lights against the ornaments.  It like highlights each ornament and ahh <3 they’re the best.  This picture of our tree was taken while we were decorating it.

@SuperDuperBrit:   What an adorable picture!  Love the candy canes, too.  You two are a beautiful couple.   It’s our first married Christmas together, too, so fun!  🙂

@Sunfire:  Thank you!  Congrats to you and your love!!  It’s so much fun knowing that we’ll wake up together on Christmas morning.  I used to do the whole Christmas morning thing with my family and then drive over to his house or vice versa.  So it will be extra special this year.  Last Christmas I drove over to his house and we got engaged.  <3 <3

@Blush.Champagne:  It’s beautiful, we went to Oahu and loved it.  We want to go back and check out another island some day.
