@kansas_nurse: We’re not doing engagement photos – in fact part of my FH’s motivation for getting the photographer we did was because he DIDN’T offer one, and whereas other photographers went on about how important it was to do one, our photog basically said that if he needed to take a practise run before the wedding, he wouldn’t be doing his job!
We’ll probably send Save The Dates to FH’s Canadian family, because they’ll need to book flights, but not sure when we’ll send those.

@kansas_nurse: We are doing e-pics November 2nd and sending them out February-ish as well. I’m sooo excited! I hope there are still some pretty fall colors by that time!

We are doing our engagement pictures on October 27th. I have not really decided on when to send out save the dates yet. I was thinking sometime around January/Febraury.

@smirkypox the first picture you posted are a couple I go to college with! I think they made a good choice in their e-photos since I’ve seen them everywhere! 🙂
Hi there OP! we are sending out our save the dates next week and took our engagements a month ago ( still waitng to get them back though. Im so impatient! haha)

We are doing our E-pics on Friday! 🙂 So that they are taken exactly a year before our wedding. I was thinking of sending out the Save The Dates around March-April.

I am constantly oscillating between wanting e-pics and not wanting them. Probably won’t end up doing them.
I wasn’t even thinking about Save-The-Date Cards until now! Are they really a necessity? If they are I guess I’ll get them done soon-ish. I have such a rigid schedule.
ALSO HOLY CARP STEPHANIE1989 YOU ARE IN MY TOWN (or at least your wedding is) HELLO NEIGHBOUR! And you have the wedding date I was originally going for. And if the ‘1989’ is your birth year you’re my age too. Woah.

I am thinking of fall epics because we will be married next fall. My sis is a photog so its not like we can’t try again in winter too! I am having a destination wedding so I will send out stds in January 🙂 yay!

We’re doing our e pics in 2 weekends. I’ve only been engaged 2 weeks, and that’s the soonest I could get my photographer booked. I’m hoping I don’t lose all the fall colors since my fiance waited until October to propose and I don’t really want winter pictures (this time at least). We’re thinking save the dates in February, as there are quite a few out of town guests (including ALL of his family). I’m planning on getting magnets….best prices with designs I’ve found so far are through magnet street….anyone else have a good website for save the date magnets?

We are doing our engagement photos around christmas time, not sure about the save the dates. Now I’m starting to stress about outfits for winter photos and I’m thinking I need to find a new peacoat on black friday 🙂

Getting e-pics done this weekend, should get them back from photog within a month. Will probably take me a couple weeks to design a save the date and choose which photo i like the best for that purpose. May even design more then one just because i can. Some people get this version, some people get that. Anyway I’m thinkin they’ll be in the mail in Jan. I’m so excited i couldn’t possibly wait any longer lol

We’re not doing e-pic, but I handmade our save the dates.. need to change them a little though.

@kansas_nurse: we havent done them yet our photographer backed out…so now we are in search in a new photographer. trying to get them done in the fall but our location said we have to be there 8am-10am ONLY…so now to find a good priced photgrapher that will get up that early on a weekday…UGH. Being we have a year to go i was thinking maybe having the same shot taken someplace so its all 4 seasons…IDK tho just thought of it, going to talk to the Fiance tonight about it…

No engagement pictures, don’t particularly care for them (personally) plus Fiance had our photographer friend (who’s also doing our wedding) follow me around during my scavenger hunt when he proposed so I do have some photos from that day anyway…
Save-The-Date Cards are going out early December because it’s destination for everyone except one groomsman and FI’s aunt and two cousins. Lots of notice!
