Ladies….. we’re in our single digits countdown! 9 days left!!!!
I can’t believe how quick time is going by. I am so ready to get married to my best friend and go on our Honeymoon.
We still have a few little things to finish:
Finish gifts for parents, girls, guys.
Do the name cards
Card box to be done the week before
Carve all our centerpiece pumkpins, week before
Do the cake week before
Rehearsal on Wednesday
Still gotta do our topper, i’m procrastinating on that one lol
How are you ladies doing?

Super excited, here!
We’ve got a few major things still to do (all the florals, which will happen the 2 days before), the cake (which happens early next week), writing all the place cards out, and corner-punching all our programs.
We also have to get one last booster shot for our 9 month old puppy so that she can spend our honeymoon hanging out on a farm / dog boarding / canine inn that does social boarding…she loves that place (we took her for daycare a few weeks ago).
Our big excitement was last week, when we got a call from House of Brides (where 8 of my ladies ordered their dresses) saying that 4 of their dresses would not arrive. Luckily, Dessy is amazing, and a wonderful woman there worked with us to ship them out urgently to me directly – and we got them yesterday.
Now that no one is going to be naked, I’m pretty sure the rest of it will be a breeze!!
I honestly think the thing that is stressing me out most is packing! We have to pack for the honeymoon, pack for 4 days at my childhood home before it, pack up a dog, and pack wedding stuff…it looks like my apartment has blown up! Any packing advice?

Single digits – wow! We have a few things to finalize, mostly confirming plans with family/bridal party/vendors. Apparently people are confused/forgetful, so we need to make sure we’re all on the same page. Sigh.
We also need to wrap thank you presents and write thank you notes, pack for the hotel, bring decorations to our venue, write out checks to our vendors,…other little things.
I just hope we don’t forget anything important and everyone has a good time and at the end of the day, we get married!

We’re in pretty good shape. Projects are done, everything is just waiting to be boxed up to take to my parents’ house.
I have some logistics things to sort out still, but otherwise I am ready. Bring this wedding on! 🙂

Best of luck, 10/20 brides! This was my original first pick for a date, actually. Make sure to come back and give us November Brides some advice 🙂

I am a ball of stress…we still have to finish our centerpieces and pack them up. Get the grooms suite on Monday, get our boys tuxs on thrusday and decide how to do our daughter hair….
I got some terrible news yesterday and destroyed my day…the venue emailed me and said they are replaceing the roof and the roof in the back will be off and OH but they will have plywood and PLASTIC on it incase of bad weather. When the owner called me after a little while i couldnt hold it in and started crying…everyone arrives in the back, the parking lot is in the back and there will be f-ing construction equipment back there…
…the good news is that they are going to put lights in the trees and sheppards hooks along the path and some other deorations outside to HOPEFULLY keep ppls eyes off the roof…and i am getting the uplights in the reception i wanted, passed apps and some little drink things for ppl when they show up
i am not happy about it all but at least they are trying to make up for it
9 days to go

9 days and I’m getting all anxious and nervous about trivial stuff. I don’t love my dress but I like it more than I did now that it’s altered. I ordered a bolero today but now I’m nervous about that. I just hope that I *feel* beautiful on my wedding day and don’t look back on my pictures with regret.
I am excited to marry my love. The day can’t come soon enough! I can’t wait to live with him and begin a new life together!
We need to finish the table assignments, playlists, gift shopping, place cards… maybe a few other things. EEK.

So excitd. My Bridesmaid or Best Man is flying in from Denmakr today so that is going to be so nice to have all my bridal party in the same country!
I had alot planned to do today but I have super bad cramps :S so I’m chilling on the bee hoping pamprin kicks in and doesn’t make me even more sick -somtimes it does sometimes it doesn’t.
I accidently mailed all my gifts to my old address so if they don’t get fwd I have to find new gifts! I’ve been getting some but not all!
I have a shower on saturday- it was stupid of me to agree to but Bridesmaid or Best Man flying intoday ( my sister) wanted to host one with my mom so it was the only option.
I have one bouqete left to finish up.
I have to make my bouidar slide show for my groom.
Hair cut and nails done
but really not to much left to do
rehersal and set up is next friday followed by b-party so everythings going to be tight but I’ve got so much done its nice…
now to get ahead on homework! yikes!

@7monthbride: i don’t love my dress either. but I haven’t tried it on since it got altered and I ordered a second pettie coat to make it bigger so hopefully when it comes i do love it. I’m adding a simple one lace strap too it to so hopefully after that is added it becomes my perfect dress…
