I’m in, too! Oct 22nd is soon!!
I started the dukan diet in may and have lost about 20 pounds. It was really restrictive at first, but now I’m in the consolidation phase… and I’ve found it the hardest phase yet! It’s really tough to reincorporate carbs & other “banned” foods and not be tempted to eat huge portions… Anyway, I’m going back to the gym starting tomorrow, and hope to tone up arms and belly in time for the wedding!

Well ladies… How did the holiday weekend go for you???
Sept 4: 1 mile run, 15 min abs, 20 min arm workout.
Sept 5: 1st attempt at surfing. 🙂 That counts as an arm workout with the paddle paddle paddle.
If I might add, my dieting has been awful. Need to do better!

Weigh in: 137 Goal: 132
Another bootcamp session – kickboxing.
Reasonable breakfast and lunch – and then my bachelorette party started. . .
DAY 3- 5
I think I will just have to pretend these days didnt happen. . . there was a lot of cupcakes, pastas, drinking, and absolutly no exersize (well there was dancing. . . )
Now that the bach party is over I am hoping to get back on track.

Well I’ve been so stressed, and I managed to hurt my knee (sitting at my desk?! seriously!). So I haven’t been good about working out since I last posted. I think i’ve been eating ‘less’ but not necessarily healthier. bad bride. bad bride.
BUT… 9 days in…
Weigh in: 136.6 Goal: 133 3.6 lbs to lose. Lost 1.4.
Getting to 136 has always been easy… getting down to 133 is going to be hard work for me. I think the 136 range is easy to maintain without a lot of work. So this bride needs to put the “A” game back on.

Hey working out bees… MID POINT in the month. How are you doing?
My knee still hurts… and I’m off to the doctors tomorrow. I thought it was better, and went for a 0.9 mile walk (the loop of development).. and hurt it worse than before. crazy.. I’m 25, should NOT be having knee problems like this!
Still doing abs and arms with free weights. I feel a little more toned. I feel that my arms are just a tad skinnier, and my belly looks a little flatter. Still have some work to do – wish I could do cardio!
15 more days …. good luck girls!

I am not doing so well ladies, and my motivational partner is not very motivating! She bails on me a lot. 🙁
I need to kick my butt. ugh!

@red_rose: hahaha THANKS!
I honestly think I need bootcamp or something. I can’t seem hold myself accountable, so I need to be forced into it by someone else.

well, this thread seems to have been all but abandoned, but I do admit that at least once I have done exercise when I otherwise might have made excuses, cuz I knew I could come back here and write about it!
So I didnt do anything yesterday, but I ran the day before, and today I did my first zumba class! It was really awesome! I have never in my life exercised and NOT been like watching the clock and dying for it to be over! It was great!

I’m still here! I’m still very gimpy (knee randomly breaks me down after trying to start a new cardio routine!)! I’m going to Physical Therapy tomorrow for my knee. So still NO CARDIO! I can’t even take a long walk. This is totally killing my fat burning skills. I RAN A HALF MARATHON LAST YEAR. This is so stupid that I can’t even take a walk at 25.
Despite my angry tones…
Last night I rocked out p90x yoga. I have random muscles that burn today! That means good right?
This morning I did about 15 minutes of quick excersices. I didn’t do anything more, but ate a whole lot of Veggies and no chocolate. DId I mention the community choclate bowl is on my desk at work? So Hard to resist!! I inherited the chocolate bowl from my new boss – when he got promoted I took his desk. And the bowl stayed. He still buys chocolate for it. And it SITS. ON. MY. DESK.

I’m still here too, I’m just embarrassed about my progress (eer… or lack thereof)! However, this week I’ve done:
Monday – Ripped In 30 week 1
Tuesday – Aerobics Dance Class – 40 Mins.
Wednesday – I’m going to try and squeeze in another Ripped in 30 work out.
I’ve also been trying to cut down on my bad food intake. Eating heathier, and now that my Stagette has passed, I feel like I can really concentrate on eating properly.
