I swore I wouldn’t wait until the last minute on this one. And somewhow it keeps getting back down to the bottom of the list. Who here has DIY programs? Where are you buying paper? I could use some inspiration – I’ve seen hundreds of ideas and nothing is jumping out at me yet.

My date twin! Don’t feel bad I’m the same way! I’m looking for templates that way I can fill them in with my information! Have you decided on your music for the ceremony?

- Wedding: October 2011 - Bed & Breakfast
We got all of our paper from Paper Source in Annapolis Towne Center. You should go there. The staff are super helpful, and the store has everything that you will need. We used the same paper and fonts for all of our day-of paper goods (place cards, signs, programs, menu cards, etc.) so that it looks cohesive.
Our program is booklet style. The front cover has our names, the wedding date, and the venue name. The inside of the front cover has a photo of us and a thank you message. The next page lists our important people (wedding party, ceremony participants, and family, as well as a line of rememberance for those who are no longer here). The page after that is a crossword puzzle that we made. The last interior page is the ceremony order, with descriptions of elements that may be unfamiliar to people. The back cover has a quote from Goodridge v. Massachussets. It’s all held together by a ribbon along the folded edge.

Aw we’re date triplets! Ha, I may be completely axing the programs. I just don’t feel like blowing the money on it! My mom wants them though, so she may end up doing them!

I haven’t done programs yet and I am a week before you. Not sure what I am even going to do. Maybe we won’t do them either, not sure.

Rhapsody, do you have a theme for your wedding. Maybe if you do something along the lines of your theme.

I’m doing these.
Mine are printed and cut out, I just have to assembly them. The backer is purple. Hobby Lobby was the only place I could find the right shade of purple. I’m assembling them this weekend.

I bought my programs at MyCustomStationary (http://www.mycustomstationery.com/products/programs/). They were a little expensive but worth every penny. I was really impressed with the quality. You can print directly on the program, but I am going to print mine on a seperate sheet of paper and secure it to the program with a pre-tied tassle (http://www.daisy-days.com/pre-tied-program-tassels.html)
