Lots of Maggie Sottero bee!

My FI’s grandma is making me a shawl to wear over my dress for the evening reception.

Originally I wanted a dress with sleeves, but I fell in love with this one.

I’m not sure if my dress goes with the season, but I think it goes with my vintage theme. Still don’t have pics of me in it yet.

I chose my dress to fit my venue more than the season, but I think it works well for fall. The light gold color works well for fall, and the weight is nice and light. It’s usually in the upper-50s to low-60s around here. I am still hunting for a cardigan to wear incase I get cold. I think I’ll be so worked up I’ll be sweating!

Such pretty dresses, girls!!!! esp. love the one for the Bellagio wedding. Ooh, and wondertwin’s too… they’re all so pretty!

sbharkness83 & kjgirl05 – I am from Baltimore too. 🙂

I had a crush on the MS Vogue dress a few years ago when I was helping a friend shop. It wasn’t what she was looking for, so I told myself that’s what I’d get when it was my turn. Alas, I found a dress the first time I went shopping with my mom and sister, so I never got to try it on.

I don’t actually love, love, my dress but I like it and it was very reasonably priced. I only had one hour to look with both my mom and sister while we were home for a family reunion… I really liked it, so I bought it, after only trying on a few other dresses…. that is SO not like me. I tend to obsess. I am half tempted to keep looking and see if I find something I LOVE, but I don’t know… this one has sentimental value now since I was with my mom and sis and won’t be again until the wedding…It’s also comfortable, since with the straps it doesn’t have to be super tight to stay up.

What do you think? Stick with it or shop again????

@78h2o: I think you need to LOVE your dress otherwise you will be second guessing yourself the whole time! I realize it had sentimental value but you need to love it!! Im the same way it took me revisiting two different dresses about three times to finally make my decision! i could never buy on the spot, I have to be 200% percent sure of it!

Here’s mine for a May wedding! Its different and I LOVE it!

@snowybride: Thanks so much! I love it! It’s also great because although it’s big it’s not heavy at all since the bottom is all organza!
