I think it wonderful you are paying for their dresses but I think a personal gift would be a nice touch and that gift could just be a personal letter to each girl from you maybe with a picture of you with each girl.  The gift is more a token of appreciation for standing by you on that special day than anything else.

I purchased my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses as well, but I am still giving them a small gift in addition to that.  I think the gift is more of a token of appreciation for their help in the wedding planning/shower giving/bachelorette party participating process, and while it’s nice that we paid for the dresses, those don’t speak much in the ways of "thank you for doing etc etc."  I’d stick with something small and meaningful  if your budget is tight, again, it’s the thought that counts.

I think a small gift and a personalized card thanking them would be nice.  You could find a nice wrap/shaw (I’ve seen them at Target for ~$10) or a simple pair of earrings from Etsy.
