End of June. About 35% of our guests are out of state, so we want them to have plenty of time to respond (our deadline is August 31). We had to make a really early response time bc our venue wants a final head count by September 18th for some ungodly reason. -_-

I think we’ll probably send them mid-August w/RSVP in mid-late September. I haven’t even thought about what they’re going to look like or where they’ll come from, yet. Ahh!

I’m going to send mine out around August 12th and have the RSVPs due around September 12th

Save the Dates going out this week. Invitations (already have them) are going out probably early to mid August. I have the RSVP date for almost a month before so it gives them a month to stew on it lol

We’re sending out our invites that are going international in early July. We’re sending out local invites at the end of July/beginning of August. The RSVP date will be a month before the wedding, so we’ve got time to chase late RSVPers down.

I’m sending mine out the first week in August, with an RSVP date of September 5th. Our STD cards went out at the beginning of March.

Have not even thought about them yet but looking to send them out 8 weeks before.

Wow, awesome feedback, Bees!! I am going invite shopping on Friday! A friend of my moms owns a stationary company and luckily she offered us a discount. I guess I will send them out sometime in August. I sent my Save-The-Date Cards out in the middle of March.

We are sending ours out pretty early too (June 1st) because it is a destination wedding and everyone will be traveling some sort of distance.

We sent Save-The-Date Cards in January.
I have the materials to DIY invites and plan on sending them out in early July.

we r doing a destination, so save the dates went out last Nov and the invites will be going out this month, mid-April with an RSVP deadline of Aug 31.

@classyashley My date is the same! We have not done STD but everyone already knows the date, I figured family will let others know too. We will also be sending out invites in the first week of august with RSVP’s due first week of September. Then comes the dreaded time trying to call everyone that forgets to RSVP!
Is anyone doing wedding website RSVP’s thats what I think I’m gonna do cause I know I’m horrible at getting things mailed in time.

@smetivier26: We’re doing the option of RSVPing online. We put our wedding website address on our Save the Dates (melissaplusjohn[dot]com) – so people have the option to RSVP online now if they know they’re coming. But we’re also sending out invitations (with reply cards) to everyone regardless of whether or not they RSVP online because it wouldn’t be proper etiquette to invite someone and NOT send a formal invitation.
But we know a lot of people are more comfortable doing most things online (booking hotels, renting cars, etc etc) so why not let them be able to RSVP?
