Hi month twins!
Just posting to say hi and to see what everyone is up to. I’m 116 days away and fi and I printed all of our semi-diy invitations this weekend and I started addressing envelopes. What is your current project?
Here is what we did:

MrsCoffeeSnob : I feel like we have so much to do! Lots of little details! We have our invites and are working on getting them stuffed. I am also working on the DIY bouts for the guys.

hunting_bride : I love the shotgun shell idea! That’s awesome! I have to start doing center pieces, but still waffling with ideas

MrsCoffeeSnob : Your invitations look fantastic and I absolutely love hunting_bride : your bout idea – it’s so unique and creative!!
I’m an October bee also! I’m so excited that the day is almost here but I also feel like I’m so behind with less than 4 months to go!! I’m FINALLY getting down to business and cutting through my to-do-list. These are the things I still have left to go:
1. Wedding Website
2. Invitations – finalizing wording to approve prints; and then needs to be sent to calligrapher
3. Programs & Menu
4. Pick up Marriage License
5. Send Day of Logistics Doc to vendors – cheat sheet of parking info, emergency contact info, itinerary etc. for all of our vendors
6. DIY Projects galore – Cake stand, cake cutting set, guest book, ring box (photo prop), bride / groom toasting flutes, floral arch, centerpieces, reception room backdrops, etc…
7. Wedding Cake
8. Beverages for Reception – Need to decide on our own beverages and provide to caterer
I’m happy to say that the rest has all been completed! Even though there is still much to do. Good luck on all of your projects, ladies!! xoxo

October 7th bride her; 74 days away! Yesterday I decided I wanted manzanita trees for my reception so today I’m on the hunt! I found some great DIY videos, and with Honey being so handy, I’m sure they’ll be awesome!

rockylcm : I’m working on a DIY fall leaf backdrop for our 10/14 wedding. I have 600 artificial maple leaves and just working on figuring out a solid vision; I’ve seen “illusion” type backdrops that have the leaves on clear string (like fishing line? lol) but also just assembled in long strands that have the leaves hot glued to one another

I’m 90 days out! (October 28th)
Still don’t really know what to do about aisle decorations or centerpieces. 🙁
Everything else is good to go, just need to send in final payments!
Happy planning October bees 🙂

MrsCoffeeSnob : That sounds pretty. Since we’re having an outdoor ceremony, I’m thinking about the pre-made rose petal aisle runner. That looks like quite the undertaking but I’m excited to give it a try.
