I’m so excited to join this month! My cycles are always all over the place and I never really ovulate so I haven’t been able to do an official “roll call” yet. This is our first month using Clomid though, so I figured I’d give it a go!

For fun: First trip you’d plan post-covid world? We’ll definitely be visiting my in-laws, we aren’t now because military rules say no. Big trip wise, the Scotland trip my aunt and I had to cancel in March due to Covid when we were just days away from leaving 🤬.

For fun: First trip you’d plan post-covid world? Covid won’t really prevent this, but I’m trying to set up a guided hunt in the mountains (take some deer) for the end of October, I’ll 100% still go if pregnant.

Our age/ partner’s age: 32/34

Baby #: 2

Current Cycle Day/ DPO: CD1

Ovulation Date: Usually around CD18—thinking September 18

POAS Date: Assuming I O on September 30, October 10 … but I’m definitely POASing well before that.

Usual Cycle Length: 31 days

Cycles Trying: 2 (early miscarriage from our first cycle trying, had to wait a month on doctor’s orders to start trying again)

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Prenatals—trying Ritual; charting (Ava); BD timing—all the time in the fertile window

Trying anything new this month: Might try throwing in some meditation, but that’s less for getting pregnant and more for my own self.

For fun: First trip you’d plan post-covid world? Hawaii. I’ve been dying to sit on a beach with a good book and an umbrella in my drink.

Cruising towards FW over here. AF seems to be forever taking this cycle though.  Heavy CD1 and CD 2, basically non-existent CD 4-6 then back to medium CD 7 and I’m still going on CD 8.  I’m trying to lose some weight, and I’m hoping tha better weight management will positively impact my cycles (I’m borderline obese by BMI, but also highly active and have good muscle tone – I just eat too much).

ROLL CALL

Your age/ partner’s age: 31/41

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/ DPO: CD 1

Ovulation Date: Either 9/27 or 9/28

POAS Date: October 9, I’ll be either 11 or 12 DPO (going to try and refrain from early testing, the BFNs get me down)

Usual Cycle Length: Earlier this year it was 25 days, but I’ve had a few 26 day cycles now.

Cycles Trying: 4

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Trying to time BD a little better (aiming for CDs 12, 13, 14, and 15 which will either be O-3, O-2, O-1 and O or O-2, O-1, O, and O+1. Continuing to take coq10 because it’s given me a slightly longer luteal phase. Prenatals (I HIGHLY recommend SmartyPants gummies! So tasty, and they have methylfolate which is super important…about half of women can’t process synthetic folate), maybe throwing in some vitamin D. I use an Ava bracelet to track my temps (highly recommend if you’re lazy/don’t sleep super consistently), and this will be month 3 of using OPKs. Otherwise…trying to relax. I’ve been a ball of anxiety about the state of the world, and my insomnia is so bad, I need to try and chill out.

Trying anything new this month: Sort of answered this above, nothing huge.

Link to your chart if charting: I don’t know how to do that, but I’ll screenshot later if anything interesting happens.

For fun: First trip you’d plan post-covid world?: SO MANY! We had a trip to Paris with my mom planned for April, so the refund/vouchers are burning a hole in our pockets. We’re thinking of Fall 2021/Spring 2022, figuring that 3 adults to 1 baby (universe willing!) will be manageable. Travel is super important to us, so we definitely plan to get a baby used to it early on (with the obvious caveat that you can’t plan everything, so obviously there may be some legitimate health reason we wouldn’t be able to). DH and I’s first trip post-COVID will be to Chicago for a week…we’re going to rent an Airbnb, see the sights, eat all the pizza, and I’ll hopefully be enormously pregnant (we’re aiming for April).
