The first thing when I woke up this morning was check our 10-day forecast… and its calling for RAIN on Friday and Saturday! Argh, I have a garden ceremony, outdoor cocktail reception, and a tented reception.  There is a backup plan for everything, but its not ideal.  I will cross my fingers for you all and do every other superstitious thing I know how to if you do the same for me!! Deal?

Anyone have any last minute tips on how to look their best on that day?  I’m drinking tons of water and lifting handweights.

I just checked the 10 day forecast and there is a 60% chance on rain here in FL on the 29th. I knew that there could always be that possibilty having an outdoor wedding on the beach. I guess I have to start thinking about plan B. πŸ™  Of course, it could change between now and then but I am still freaking out. It has been so pretty here all month long. I am so sad. I guess I will cancel the tables and chairs I rented later on next week when I know it’s definite.

@surfsidebride: I guess its too soon to tell, and 60% chance is such a wishy washy percentage.  Like they don’t want to be wrong.  Why don’t they just say 50/50?  I just checked my forecast again today, and now its going to be sunny! Yesterday it was T-storms, today its sunny.  I’ll keep my fingers crossed for your beach wedding!  Whats the latest you can cancel the outdoor elements without losing too much $?

@JessyMess: I know it could change. Last night I looked and it said sunny! It could just rain in the morning and nice in the evening. We are having a sunset ceremony so I am hopeful. We just did so much to prepare for an ourdoor wedding. πŸ™ I don’t pay for the table and chairs until the Friday before so I can still cancel and just loose the deposit. I can still arrange to have it inside the beach house I rented but that is not what we want obviously. I’m trying not to freak out but it’s hard not to.

Alter my Fiance built last weekend that I am going to decorate (hopefully) with ivory tulle, green hydrangeas and strands of crystals of the back post. And, Starfish chair hangers we made to put on the chairs….all of this work will be for nothing if it rains. πŸ™ I guess that’s the chance you take having an outdoor wedding….

@surfsidebride: Omygosh! I can’t believe he built an altar! It won’t rain, I have a good feeling about it.  Those starfish are cool, I love the Raffia.  They could still go on chairs inside, but yea wouldn’t be the same as a beach of course.

@JessyMess: I hope your feeling is right! I have tried to be so positive and upbeat about the planning. Mainly because I don’t want to bother people with wedding drama all the time. Now I am officially freaking out, though!

I really want to use the canopy (alter). I guess we can just put it up in the backyard as decor if we can’t use it at the actual wedding…..ha! (Trying to find the humor in all of this)

Checked my weather forecast.  Rain Thursday, Rain Friday, Rain Saturday.  Oh wait did I mention those are the 3 days we have wedding things planned and most of them were going to be outside.

Shoot me now πŸ™

Now I just looked at the 10 day forecast and it’s saying it will be sunny on the 29th with 0% chance of rain! WTF! Why do I torture myself with the 10 day forecast. I am soooo happy to see the sunshine but I know that could easily change back to rain! TWC is seriously effing with me. My Fiance is convinced that it will not rain though…on what bases he is making that assumption on, I have no idea. He is always the more level-headed and the voice of reason, ha! I wish I could be more like him sometimes.

@heathershane: I lost my job about a month ago and I’m starting a new one TOMORROW so I’ve been crying more than ever too!

I’m so grateful for the time off that I’ve had to complete tons of wedding projects, but I wasn’t prepared for the sudden shortage of cash flow!!!! Now I’m stressing so hardcore about learning the ropes at a new job that it’s making me even more weepy and meltdown proned than before πŸ™

But, woohoo 5 days!

Looking like snow for us in Virginia now…I don’t think I’ve ever seen it snow in October.  Of course it’s gotta do it during my outdoor wedding.

Le sigh.  Our honeymoon is getting cancelled as well since Hurricane Rina decided to drop by Mexico.  I was hoping we’d get good weather for one or the other, but it’s not looking like it :/

@KateByDesign: Just think of how romantic snow can be. It will be lovely, no matter what. And yea, it is crazy that we are discussing snow in this area in October.
