I just looked at my school database and no one has a birthday that day.   We only have 115 students though.

I do happen to know one person whose b-day is tomorrow. But I know WAY more people born in late August/early September. My Gyn said it’s always the busiest time of year. But I had never heard of Oct. 5th being so busy. Going to tell my friend:)

Facebook tells me I know 2 people with that birthday.  But I didn’t know off the top of my head.

    I always felt like there’s a sh*tload of people born on October 3rd…not 5th

Not on the 5th specifically, but there are 8 people (myself included) who have bdays in October. So I’m not surprised it is a popular month.

But the question is…. do you know WHY it’s the most common birthdate? Or why there are so many birthdays in late September/early October?

@Ivorybuttons: Because they all would have been conceived around the holidays 🙂

@Ivorybuttons: The only thing I can think of is everyone in late September/early October would have been conceived around New Year’s.  40 weeks ago from October 5, 2011 was December 29, 2010.  So, I would imagine it’s a combination of the holiday, plus being cooped up in the house all winter with snow. 😉

That amuses me.  My sister and my Aunt have that birthday.

Awww, it’s my dog’s birthday! Actually, we don’t know the exact date, but we got her June 5, so we just decided Oct. 5 would be her birthday. Close enough. She’s turning 1 year old tomorrow. 🙂

My due date is Monday…. this gives me hope all these contractions I’ve been having might lead to something tonight and I’ll have my baby tomorrow….but I’m irrational.
