I’m in panic mode. Soooo much stuff left to accomplish! My dress is in but I haven’t picked it up yet (thinking this weekend). It’s the final countdown ladies!

I’m panicking. All the big stuff is done, but I have so much little shit to do…it’s scary.

I have my first dress fitting today, and I’m also going to Mens Warehouse to pick out the shirts/ties that the ushers will be wearing. Meeting with the venue on Saturday to map everything out and pick out the wines we’ll be serving. Also currently writing thank you notes for my first shower…my second one is next weekend. YIKES.

Like everyone else, I am in panic mode. This week we will finish the place card holders, and this weekend I am tackling the programs. Mr. LK and the best man are getting fitted this weekend, and he’s calling the venue to arrange the final menu tasting. I am working with the seamstress who is making my shrug, impatiently waiting for my bracelet to arrive, ordering our custom embroidered hankies this week, and scheduling our final florist consultation, too. There is so much to do!

In 2 months and 1 day this will all be over. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything is coming together.  Yay!  Still some small details to do but they are worked into To Do List which keeps getting smaller and smaller.  Invitations were sent out Thursday, first response came back Saturday.  Who knew the mail worked that quickly!  Dress is still scheduled to be in August 16th.  Umm what else.  Ah yes, bachelorette and shower are taking place this weekend.  Looking forward to some fun with my friends and family.  Final details meeting on Tuesday… at the banquet coordinators house (she is neighbors with my FI’s parents) to discuss over cocktails…very professional we know.  ๐Ÿ™‚  It’s been pretty smooth sailing and relatively stress free.  We hope it stays that way.

I’m pretty nervous! I’m nervous we’re missing some things, plus my fiance is travelling a ton the next 3 weeks for work. So I’m working to schedule things he would like to help with on the days he is home. I was also hoping that by sending out my invites early, I would get more RSVP’s sooner….so far we are at: 18 No, 60 Yes, and 130 that have not responded. The RSVP date is not until September 10th….so I’m not trying to worry until I get closer to Sept 10th. I am just not looking forward to calling 130 people when I would rather focus on last minute details.

How are you guys coming along with your RSVp’s?

AHHHHHHHHHHH! Haha sorry I had to get that out there.

I too am in panic mode! I just finished all my thank you notes from my shower.  Thursday night is my first dress fitting.  Saturday is my hair and make-up trial, and then I am going to meet with the venue to hammer out all the last minute details.  Sunday I am meeting with the people doing the music for the ceremony.

Fiance and I are going to go to some church counseling sessions at the end of the month (we already completed pre-cana).  I am so afraid that I am going to forget something!

Yup, panic is the prevailing emotion right now. I had my shower on Sunday, and I’ve got 18 Thank-yous written, and 12 more to do – they are taking way, way longer than I thought they would! We still need to buy suits for Fiance and his Groomsmen – that should be this weekend. Still need to decide on wedding bands – we have been massively indecisive about this. Desperately need to sit down and go through/edit our ceremony, and decide what music we want to play, and when. I’m DIYing the flowers, and still need to decide exactly what I want to order…yeah, lots to do, not nearly enough time to do it!

Yep, panicking here a little as well. I keep reminding myself that even though I love design stuff and all the little details, I’m only working with 3.5 months and I’m not going to be able to do absolutely everything that I want to do. Also, I keep reminding myself that it’s about the people and the experience, more than anything.

My venue is 2000+ miles away, so a lot of things have to wait…since everything I do here has to be shipped or taken on the plane. My dress is 2000 miles away, so no fittings (or even alterations!) until the week before. No hair and makeup trial until the week before. That’s just how it’s gonna be.

I posted my crazy to do list in the “what are you working on thread”… it freaks me out if I dwell on it. I’m trying to stay calm, remind myself of how much we’ve accomplished in 6 weeks, and keep things in perspective.

Yep! Panic is a common emotion I’m going through right now! My invites aren’t out yet. They were supposed to be out the last week in July but I went on holidays… and… well… they were HOLIDAYS… LOL. So, tonight me and the Fiance are gonna sit down and power through getting them stuffed for sending out tomorrow.

My Fiance doesn’t have his suit yet. Which is secretly really stressing me out, but he’s having some money problems and I don’t want to nag him. I’m just really wanting him to go and get it done ASAP.

We also haven’t got our wedding bands yet, we know what we want, we just have to go buy them. This is also stressing me out. I could pay for them and the suit, but Fiance is having a bit of manly money issue and I don’t want to step on his manly toes… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Otherwise we’re in really good shape! My centerpieces are taken care of by the flourist, the favors need to be put together, but that can happen in a night with my girlfriends and a movie!

I REALLY CAN’T WAIT. SO EXCITING.

@AntsyA: Our RSVP dates match! I am hoping to hear from people earlier than that though – just to help with planning. I forgot to put my registry details on the invitations! AGH! Aside from that, things are running according to schedule.

@rhapsody – it’s probably better that you left out the registry info. My understanding is that it’s definitely not supposed to go on the invitation, and even enclosing a registry card is a no no. I don’t know if you meant enclosing a card with the website info – that I understand is ok, but in either case, your family and/or wedding party can spread the word regarding where you’re registered.  ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s great you got  them out!

@Rhapsody: I forgot our registration cards as well….but mostly because I kept hearing mixed info about it not being proper etiquette. Luckily 78H20 just confirmed that as well. ๐Ÿ™‚
