Hi all! We are getting married 6 months from today. I can barely contain my excitement. Over the weekend I added another bridesmaid (someone I should have asked from the get-go). We went and picked out her dress and I picked up my sister and another BM’s dress, my Maid/Matron of Honor ordered her dress last week. After 2 years engaged we’re finally in the home stretch! With the longest engagement ever I’ve been really on the ball. But, I feel like I’m running out of things to do which makes me a little sad, surprisingly!
Now, we need to start thinking about the songs for the ceremony and our first dances and order the stuff for our unity ceremony.
What are you all working on?

Working on choosing flowers and invitations right now! I picked up my dress last week and luckily it fits perfectly! Only alterations needed will be to add a bustle. Now I need to figure out accessories! Bridesmaids dresses are ordered, I need to order the flower girl dress but I want to find a time where I can go into the store and match the colors- my dress is technically ivory but their flower girl ivory looked a lot darker than my dress’s ivory, so it might be that their white is closer to my white.
Totally know how you feel about running out of things to do! It’s definitely comfortable to be at this point. I’d rather feel ahead of the game than behind though!

We are doing a 30 person destination wedding in Hawaii, so we are working on the logistics for the 5000 mile journey from NYC. Other than that I really don’t have much to do, the resort does almost everything. I suppose we need to figure out welcome bags and favors, but that should probably be purchased once we get out there.
