Yep! I’m going between freaking out and being so over planning. I still have to:

– Print programs

– Finish dress alterations

– Get my e-ring cleaned

– Pack

– Send final number to venue

– Pick the wine

– Send out final payments

– Send in all the legal paperwork

– Choose all the reception music (putting this one off big time!)

– Other small details.

Ok, better sit down this weekend and get working!!!

Ok so at this point in time, I still have to:

– pick up the dress from the alterers
– nag the boys’ to get their suits (again!)
– find a nice bouquet of fake flowers; real are too expensive
– meet with photographer (happening this weekend)
– finish writing ceremony
– go ring shopping (he already knows what he wants, thank GOD!)
– finish bridal party presents
– pick important music
– write up letters for surrounding houses to apologise for noise (reception at home)
– finish writing vows
– get last of decorations
– speak to caterer

Geez it looks like so much but it’s so not. 46 days!!

  • We’re getting the marriage license a week from Friday
  • We need to meet with the photographer and discuss which photos we “must have”

I just wrote down everything left in a conversation with my mother, so here’s my updated list.

Also, bachelorette party is on Saturday. Aside from a small list of things to bring and a time to be ready, I have NO clue what to expect. EEE! Excitement. FI’s bachelor party was last week.

Still to do:

Get FI’s ring resized (next Wednesday)
Get marriage license (the following Wednesday morning)
Buy more underwater LEDs for centerpieces
Buy divider for ceremony
Have Fiance buy his groomsmen gifts
Make/purchase Out of Town bags and bathroom baskets
Assemble placecards
Finalize menu
Seating plans
Final honeymoon payment
Get fitted!
Meet with DJ
Re-Steam veil
Assemble centerpiece parts that can be pre-assembled
Pay people
Make guest book pages (lost in the great delete of 2013…ugh)
Finalize ceremony
Stop caring about the top of our centerpieces
Pack for honeymoon/buy ALL THE SUNSCREEN

That list looks really long but I think I’ve got this under control. The bothersome part is I want to do it now, but I’m down to the nitty gritty and everything is either time sensitive or by appointment.

There are SO MANY THINGS left to do. I don’t know how its possilby going to get done, but Fiance keeps telling me it will.

  • Begin dress alterations — Starting them on Saturday!
  • Work on welcome bags
  • Finish bridesmaids gifts: scrapbooks for each filled with pictures of us throughout the years, and each will get a robe monogrammed with their names
  • Finalize ceremony recessional song and reception entrance song (I think we’re going with Yeah by Usher)
  • Meet with the caterer to finalize the menu — thats tomorrow!!
  • Figure out what to do for a card box
  • Purchase all alcohol and beer
  • Finalize transportation — should be finalized by the end of the week
  • Figure out what to put in the bathroom baskets, buy all those supplies and assemble them
  • Finalize the rehearsal dinner menu and guest list
  • Make a seating plan (I’ve already started with the RSVPs we’ve gotten so far)

A million more little details that I can’t think of right now. 53 days to get this all done!! AHHH
