Starting to panic hahaha! Just got the rings ordered/shipped, our walk through is on sept 20th, and I have no idea what music we’re using besides the first dance. But everything else is good!

I feel like I’m way behind on stuff. And even though I gave people until September 10th to RSVP, I sure wish people would do so sooner since so much is affected by the final numbers! We’ve heard from about 50% of people.

My bachelorette party is next weekend, so that should be nice!

Oh tell me about it!! We just sent invitations out on Tuesday (wedding is on 13th Oct) and I have 2 that I meant to send today from work, but I left them at home frown They know about it, and they’ll get it eventually, but GAH!!

We don’t have a cake yet, and I haven’t heard any updates from our band’s manager so I’m freaking out (he’s been awfully quiet – he’ll respond to emails like ‘any updates on how the band’s going?’ with ‘they’re doing great!! can’t wait for the day’ and the control freak in me is having a heart attack here)

Wedding bands are still in progress – I need to resize my grandmother’s ring, and Mr Caribou needs his made.

Haven’t even planned a hen’s or shower or anything. Just telling myself that we’ll get there, and it’ll be perfect 🙂

Keep swimming, bees!!

futuremrscaribou :  Date twin! We don’t have our wedding rings either. I ordered one, but I don’t like the it sits taller than my engagement ring. I have an appointment with the showroom this Saturday to try and figure something out. The almost-husband hasn’t even found one he likes yet!

We also don’t have cake, because I was going to just use a bunch of Costco cheesecakes/have a dessert table but then I felt sad about not having something pretty to cut and now I need to figure out if we want a single tier plus a sheet cake or cupcakes or ahhhhhh.

Hard to believe I’ve been working on this thing for over a year and still have so much undecided. I should have invited fewer people so I could afford a planner lol.

Glad to see I’m not the only one freaking out about being ready for the wedding. My september is booked with work stuff (two week training that ends the week before the wedding) AHH
Hopefully everything comes together. Invites were sent out last week, so hopefully RSVPs come filing in and I can get an idea on count (everyone’s traveling from somewhere in the state)
Lots of last minute orders going in on Amazon to get everything. But the rings came in quick and I just have to try not to loose them and find everything I’ve been storing away for the last year.

We only set our date 3 months before our wedding date.  Planning a wedding in three months is absolutely insane.  I feel so behind on everything, but things do seem to be falling in place, I just don’t have the option to be too picky.  I just got a florist today though, so that’s a big weight off of my shoulders.

Now, if only I could find a cake/cupcakes/whatever that got me excited.  They all seem so lack luster.

Three weeks to go! Eek! Had a last minute fitting for my dress, will pick it up next week. Still need to get our marriage license, finish a bunch of signs and get stuff for the dessert bar, among other things. Our final walkthru with the venue is next weekend.

Good luck ladies!
