I have to say, getting that first RSVP back in the mail was reallly awesome. I had another one of those, “OMG THIS IS HAPPENING”, moments.
So let’s do a little rollcall, because I can’t be the only one excited!

Fortunately quite a few of the declines are from her list of people Fiance and I don’t even know!

Date Sent: July 30th
How Many: Around 56, so around 108 people
Due Date: August 30th
Recieved: 30, we are at 61 guests.
I am so antsy about receiving them all back! Out of the 30 RSVP’s, only 3 have declined and a couple have added children ::sigh:: Oh well. Our venue requires our final number 30 days in advance so we sent them out a little early. I created a wedding website to make it easier for people to RSVP, along with pre-stamped and addressed RSVP envelopes. I just don’t understand why we have only heard back from a little over half of our guests! I am waiting one week after the due date before I start making calls.
I am so ready for our wedding to be here! 🙂

Date sent: End of July
How many? 275 invitations (531 guests)
Due date: August 20th
Received: So far about 340 yes, 20ish no and the rest are unknown. We’ll have to “guesstimate” our final guest count at this point. They are due September 3rd.
We made the appointment with the hall to start with all the details next week already, I get overwhelmed with emotion every time I think of it. I just don’t know how to go about the final number……

Date you send out your invites? Some were in the mail August 8, and the rest were August 9.
How many invites? 137 total
Date RSVPs are due? September 19
How many have you had accept/delcine so far? Right now, only 5 or 6 people (I think) have declined, and the rest received have accepted. From what I can remember from the tracking spreadsheet… we’re at around 75 people attending – out of 303.
We get about 3-4 a day, and have been receiving them since the Monday after they were mailed. So, getting the mail is fun! I update the tracking sheet every Sunday, so that has been fun too.
The only problem I’ve come across is when people have selected their meal, they put a number in front of the meal and not their name, as instructed. It’s fine when it’s a couple – as then I’ll just write a name for the meal and if it’s wrong, they can switch. Otherwise, I’ll be contacting people to get their meal choice for the place cards. For example, one of my aunt and uncles and 2 cousins replied as accepted. Then wrote 3 for chicken, and 1 for beef. Thanks… but I don’t know who wants the beef!
