I LOVE wedding planning, it's been fairly stress free

This is a fun, once in a lifetime thing that I'll be glad to be done with

There's still two months left? Can this be over already??

I am so stressed, I think I'm developing an eye twitch...

@Equine_Breeder:  dress twins! I did the over bustle and had cups put in. I didn’t feel like taking pics tho when I went on tuesday. I’ll have pics at the final fitting 🙂

I just picked up mine this past weekend. Here she is before 2 sizes too big and far to long:

And after – I’m not wearing those gloves:

My dress came in this week. I got a customized Casablanca with a custom hem and it fits like a glove! A miracle considering that I was between sizes and ordered the smaller size. I hope to lose a few more before the wedding and, if I do, I may need minor last minute alterations but as of now, I’m good to go! Laughing

All the dresses are lovely but yours are particularly beautiful.  I have had my first fitting and have retained the exact same weight so my final fitting will just to be to check the shortened skirt and adjust the lace sleeves (these are plain sleeves in the photo, mine will be cut the same shape and be of the same beaded lace as my dress skirt).

Unfortunately my dress is in pieces haha! I just had my third fitting last Saturday and it’s still in pieces. Have any of you seen your dress like that? Scary! I mean literally pieces, my dress lady took EVERYTHING apart. She put the bodice on me then took it off, then a part of the skirt went on and she did some pinning and then took it off. I trust her though and I’m fully expecting a beautiful masterpiece by the final fitting!

I had my first alterations appointment this week. 450. UGH. The positive is that I trust her to do a good job, the bad is….yeah 450. 42 days!

That’s what we paid. I think that is outrageous. Plus unfortunately we did NOT figure that in the budget 🙁

I’ve got my 2nd fitting on Thursday, the dress had to be let out about 2 inches as it was too small so she said it’s sort of a guessing game with letting it out so I may have another couple of fittings after this before it’s spot on but hopefully not, i’m pretty keen for it just to be done.
